INTRODUCTION
Individual report is defined as a summarized way to show the feedback of all the data or information
available. Report highlights the comparison between two email providers and also analyzed the feature of
both the provider and then goes on to explain which one is better for business uses and then reports goes
on to explain the different skill require to evaluate and improve the online resource evaluation

Study and comparison between two email providers
Gmail: Gmail is a free electronic mail providing service to the customer, it is developed by
Google. Gmail was set up on 1 April, 2004. There is more than 1 billion users who uses Google
mail as a primary portal to mail. Founder of Google mail is Paul Buchheit.
Yahoo! Mail: Yahoo! Mail is also a free electronic mail providing service developed by Yahoo!,
was launched in the year 1997. There are 227.8 million users of Yahoo! mail in the current
market. Founder of Yahoo! mail is Jerry Yang and David Filo (Banatwala andet.al., 2018
).
Difference between Gmail and Yahoo! Mail
Features: Gmail offers a lot more innovative features to the user as compare to the Yahoo! Mail.
Gmail offers a feature of voice call and also added the feature of a video call which has let his
user to have a call, Gmail also offers a feature of chatting in the platform and also allow user to
send SMS through the mail which are not offered in the Yahoo! Mail.
Security: When it comes on security Gmail is consider more secure as compare to the Yahoo!
Mail as expiry time of the session is very high in Yahoo! Mail then in the Gmail. Gmail also not
generally allows showing the advertisement on the web page but Yahoo! Mail allows it which
can creates cookies into the system and can be harmful for the system.

Convenient: Yahoo! Mail is consider more convenient to operate as compare to the Gmail
because Yahoo! Mail provides a variety of convenient feature such as allow user to open no. of
new tab at same time to work but Gmail does not provide that, Yahoo! Mail also provide a
feature of redirecting your mail into a specific folder instructed by you automatically which help
user to work more freely on the Yahoo! Platform as compare to Gmail but when it comes to
interoperating spam mail Gmail service is better than Yahoo! Mail (Pitchaimani, 2019).
Speed: When compare on a speed basis it is difficult to rate any one of them but somehow
Yahoo! Mail has less down fall as compare to the Gmail it may be because of the simplicity of
the webpage offer by the Yahoo! Mail as compare to the Gmail.
Business Purpose
Speed: As already explained that Yahoo! Mail is somewhat better in speed as compare to Google
mail this basis can play a vital role in the business as number of email to be sent and to receive is
very high as compare to the personal mail (Alrashedand et.al., 2019).
Cost: As compare on a cost Yahoo! charges a monthly or annual fee to give its customer a free
add portal but Google mail offer this to their customer at free of cost as business requires a big
amount of email address in a single organization, minimal cost for the portal can prove vital in
increasing expenses of the business.
Efficiency: It is a very vital basis to compare anything in the business as the main purpose of the
business is to do growth at regular interval and it can be done with increase in efficiency level of
work, both Google mail and Yahoo! mail offers a variety of features to their customer as Yahoo!
mail offers option of opening a variety of tab at the same time which can help a business to reach
number of party at the same time, Google mail offers a option to directly send the SMS to their
contact which can be helpful to business as mail only delivers on portal index but SMS delivers
on the phone of the third party which will be convenient for the third party to reply, voice and
video call is also allowed in Gmail, on the other hand Yahoo! mail provides the feature of
sending the email in respective folder automatically as it can reduce the work load of the
business and create clarity in the mind of viewer (Hahneland et.al., 2018.).

After reading the above report it can be said that Yahoo! mail is somehow better for big
organization as compare to Gmail as Yahoo! mail is good on speed and efficiency level as they
are the main purpose for business but if business is running on low scale Google mail is better as
it is free of cost and will not increase expenses and also offers the feature which can help in
growth of business such as Security, SMS and calls.

Require for online evaluation of resources
Basic knowledge: One should have knowledge about the internet and how to work on that as by
the use of that only one can able to search online on the search engine knowledge of desktop is
also require as it is the first step which help in evaluation of resources online. Knowledge of
online search engine is also require as opting a wrong search engine may result in decreasing
scope of your result and one should also require to posses the knowledge of web browser as
many web browser contains viruses which can slow down the searches of the resources
(McCutcheon and et.al., 2015).
Writing skill: For evaluating resources online both writing and reading skill requires as if your
writing skill are good then only you will be able to provide the correct instruction to the search
engine as it is the most important factor in the online searching as in the end search engine is the
one who will show you the result and if the instruction will not be on the mark it will most
probably show the wrong result and it may result in wastage of time for a person.
Reading skill: Reading skill is also very important as for searching best resources online one
should have to take information from more than one place and evaluate that and it will require lot
of data reading skill as through reading skill only one can understand the content of the site and
evaluate that if it is relevant to the require information (Alrashedand et.al., 2019).
Advance search technique skill: For evaluating resources online one should have knowledge and
skill to operate advance search technique as they help search engine to understand the message
easily this technique include instructing the search engine with the help of “And, OR and
symbols” by the help of these you are able to search multiple question at one point of time with
using “and” or “or” in between two question.

Knowledge about the resources: The one who is searching online should have the thorough
knowledge about the resources which is need to be search online as it will help the person to
give the adequate instruction to the search engine and also help in completing the search of
resources in very less time eventually it result in more information gathering for the person.
Understanding skill: Evaluating resources online requires a very good understanding skill. If you
have not able to understand what you are looking to find online then it will be very difficult for
the search engine to find out the result you are looking for so it is very important to understand
the resources first before starting searching that as it will convenient for both search engine and
individual to find out the result. As explained in earlier point that for evaluating best resources
online need to go on different and should able to understand the data correctly as there are very
different way of writer to write the data(McCutcheon and et.al., 2015).
Temperament: The person looking for resources online should have good temperament as
sometime online searching takes too many time to give the result which result in reduce of effort
by the person after some time but it does not help person in that search, person should be
temperamentally strong enough to have long and good search as there are many data available on
the internet the person has to decide which one is good and which one is not (Banatwala andet.al.,
2018 ).
Positive attitude and clarity of mind: For getting a better result in the result one should always
show a positive attitude toward the search as it help the person to overcome the barrier if he faces
in the online search and also should be clear in its mind about the resources or information
required.
CONCLUSION
After reading report it has been summarized that Yahoo! Mail and Google mail both are good for the
success of the business depends on the requirement of the business, these was explained by comparing
both email provider on basis and then report goes on to show the explanation of different types of skill
require to improve online resources evaluation.
