INTRODUCTION
Brexit put a tremendous impact over economy of UK as due to this UK got separated
from European Union. There are ample of legal, social and political changes have been
witnessed due to this event. Brexit was a political event and influence the whole world
significantly. After this, UK got power and authority to work independently by having own rules
and regulations (Matti and Zhou, 2017). Brexit did not only have political impact rather it put a
lot of impacts on business, economy, transactions, and social life of people within country as
well. The report comprises sovereignty of operations of UK parliament along with the discussion
that UK’s independence so real or just for a period of time. In addition to this, there are
necessary verdicts of court have also been included in the following report as supportive
arguments.
Main Body
It is stated that UK is owned by European countries in which all the necessary rules for
country are also formulated by EU. There was no freedom and independence to UK parliament
to take their own decisions as they need to rely on European Unions for taking all the necessary
decisions related to country and its parliament. It is analyzed that UK remain a part of EU for
almost 47 years after then, in 2016 51% people vote for leaving EU and remaining vote for being
a member of European countries. Resulted, country decided to withdraw in the year of 2019 and
finally UK left EU in 2020 (Heisbourg, 2018). Here, both the countries also discussed their
future relationship under which UK got agree to still remain associated with custom union of EU
but country was no longer associated with its political bodies, institution. It all happen because
citizen of UK want to get free movement and they do not want the further dependency on EU. It
is analyzed that pro Brexit voters were old age people so they afraid from free movement of
refugees, immigrants. Now, voters think that it is no more beneficial to have association with EU
because they are paying more than the benefits they are receiving so it is wise to withdraw.
It is said that this movement of withdraw significantly affect the country as UK is no
longer part of custom union & single market of European union rather they have a trade
agreement of no tariffs and quotas on exchange of goods. Due to this, free movement between
both of the countries has been finished and the citizens of EU who are living within UK need
