Background
The report deals with the WestAust Corporation Ltd. and their plan to implement an
Operations Management System. The five main sub-systems identified for the system are the
Parcel Service, Home care co-ordination, employment services and contractor services in
mining and contractor services in manufacturing. However, this report deals with only the
Parcel services for the customers. Details of the parcel service has been described in this
report and some illustrations along with it has been presented for the reference of the reader.
User Stories
Customer:
As a customer I would like to register into the system and provide my details. I should
also be able to register the details of my parcel into the system and enter the details of
delivery for the parcel. I should also be able to make online payment to the system. I would
like to choose the pick-up location for the parcel and also the drop-off location of the parcel.
Acceptance Criteria:
User Registration
Accept the location indicated by the user.
Accept the parcel information entered by the users.
Staff:
As a staff I would like to view the details of the customer that they enter into the
system. I would like to store the details of the customers into and system and approve their
request for registration into the system. I would also like to store the details of parcels that the
customer enters into the system. I would like to note the pick-up addresses and the delivery
location. I would also like to delete the details of the parcel once it is delivered to the

preferred location of the customer. I would also like to track the parcel and manage the parcel
efficiently on the system.
Acceptance Criteria:
Store the customer details.
Store the parcel information.
Track the locations shared by the user.
Provide information of the current status of the package to the users
