Introduction
Self-reflection can be defined as the introspection of one’s own thought, feelings, actions and
behaviour with regards to a particular event or activity with the objective of identifying and
understanding who you are, what valued does one holds, what do you think and what made you
to act in a particular way. It is personal analysis of oneself to understand what an individual aims
to become in future. By understanding oneself regarding what the person really is, what they
want to become, necessary steps are taken to achieve those objectives with the help of action
plan (Cahill and et. al., 2019). Therefore, it is an important part of learning where one develops
the skill set and review their ineffectiveness in a positive to check whether the things can be done
in more better and efficient way in future. Below mentioned report conduct detailed evaluation
of learning and skills development along with the action plans to fill the skill gap.
Task 1
Self-reflection is based on the process of assessing one self, with the aim of identifying the
one’s strengths and weakness, what skill set, competencies an individual have and find out the
ways to do things better in future through assessing the course of event or activity in past. I am
working on a client’s business problem as a member of team to solve the problem. During the
course of overall project of solving client’s business problems I have developed and enhanced
few of the skills and knowledge that I was lacking before. During the entire working life-cycle
each and every one comes across a series of challenges that end up by giving some lesson as
developing of necessary skill set and practices.
Business problems are those which prevents the organisation from achieving its long term
objectives and goals (Spivak and et. al., 2020). The customer business problem on which we
were working is that lack of promotional tools and techniques that are essential for raising
awareness among the customer with regards to the products and services our company was
offering. Promotion, a key element in marketing mix is an effective tool which is responsible for
branding, packaging, and advertising of the products and services offered by the company.
Due to the wrong selection and inefficiency of promotional activities my company was not
able to generate adequate amount of demand. While working on the project I realised that being
Innovative and creative is a key to success in marketing the products. As a par to team I was
working on some unique and out of the box ideas as a promotional tool that would life to our
