The author draws the attention on the impact of bureaucracy in the performancemanagement in the Asian countries. Various different government reports, reports ofinternational bodies, and the data produced for various governance indicators is used by theAuthor. After the Asian Financial crisis in 1997, many Asian countries introduced a selectionof performance management systems into their bureaucracies. In the Asian countries the Anti-corruption policies are not helpful. The competence and service delivery in publicorganization has not enhanced. Though, there is a necessity to incorporate political leadersinfluence in order to recognize balanced legal bureaucracy. 2. The primary thought behind this notion is to promote international agencies as an elementof their “good governance” program. There are still gaps in meeting efficient and practicalpublic administration. The study provides with different case has still not been realized inmany cases.3. Further, It is recommended to reduce the extra influence, create networked governance,permitting commitment with civil society. Employees in the public organization lackmotivation. The only way to gain requisite performance is through proficient and responsiblegovernment. Performance can only be achieved by building a cohesive organizationalstructure.Discuss the data collection and analysis methods:The research is based on the secondary data collection technique. The data is collected fromdifferent government agencies that include: Report published by the government authorities,reports published by the international bodies and the data issued by diverse governanceindicators. The article provides with scholarly analysis of performance management and newpublic management.3
