This article is focused on the theoretically and practically existing viewpoints, opinions and practices in the field of industrial and organisational psychology. While on one hand, the practical implementations of this field has multi-variate implications that can be positively explored to understand in depth the psychological problems and relevant solutions extant in the workplace, on the other, the implications are drowned by the overwhelming theoretical importance that is provided to the field in terms of academic priority and literary discussions and debates. The authors of this paper highlight that with the current pace of the work and the mismatched priorities being provided, there are high probabilities that the field would soon serve the purpose of simply filling the academic and theoretical space kept reserved for it while the spotlight from its practical applications continue to dim.
