Executive Summary
This report is prepared so as to provide a brief statement based on my industrial work experience
at Ratan Poly Elastomers that I started from 15th of July 2018 and continued till 15th of January
2019. It was a six months of industrial training program and I was given the responsibility as a
mechanical design engineer in order to deliver my mechanical system design for their ongoing
project. The training helped me to gain a lot of experience and skill that I can now apply in
various applications. I worked there genuinely and showed my effort efficiently in delivering the
project deliverables within the deadline.

1. Introduction:
1.1 Company Profile:
Ratan Poly Elastomers is one of the world’s largest professional communities for
mechanical engineers that was established in the year 2003. It is a type of manufacturing
company with a variety of cost effective molded components of rubber based on international
standard for various applications and industrial use. The company is responsible for
manufacturing related to specifications based on customer demand to every product proprietary
to the customers. The company is responsible for tackling design of complex products. The
company is committed to developing successful materials while delivering finished products
within time. The rubber is molded as per customer demands using various types of elastomers
such as Natural rubber, EPDM, Viton, Hypalone, Poly isoprene, NBR and many more. The
company takes care of every aspect of the production line in a very efficient matter and all the
raw materials that are supplied to the company comes from a best suitable source from over the
world.
1.2 Job Description:
The job for which I was assigned for training purpose included the mechanical design
engineer whose purpose is to design and develop different mechanical parts that would help in
the customized molding of rubber parts while developing optimum design for application in the
engineered molding of rubber products. The job duty also includes designing of 3D models using
Auto CAD or Autodesk software while integrating each of the phases of product development
within the molding process. In order to perform the tasks related to developing of 3D designs, I
was also trained to make use of the SOLIDWORKS software which is a 3D CAD design
