Report title Impact of leadership on the engagement and wellbeing of
employees at ICICI bank
Industry
partner
The industry partners of ICICI bank are Zoho operating system
business for managing vendor payments, GreyTip for
management could based system, etc. Another industry partner
of the bank is Emirates NBD, which has allowed for pilot
transactions required to manage international trade finance and
other financial aspects. The online car services company named
Ola has partnered with ICICI bank to deliver integrated
services too. Twitter and Facebook are other industry partners,
which have partnered with ICICI bank to deliver advanced
customers’ services and kept close contact with them to
understand their needs and preferences.
Research field The research field is related to the leadership, which is a
sub division of human resource management. The field of
research defines the scope of research concerned with the
evaluation of impact of leadership on the diversity management
within the workplace of ICICI Bank (Choudhary, Akhtar and
Zaheer 2013). This is essential for ensuring that a diversified
culture consisting of people from different backgrounds and
culture work together, in coordination, as an unit to manage
shared values and beliefs and ensure successful business
functioning (Nart et al. 2018). It is justified that leadership can
facilitate higher engagement of employees through motivation
and encouragement and providing them with various benefits

along with training sessions to sharpen their skills and
knowledge, furthermore contribute to team work, coordination
and successful accomplishment of tasks within quick time.
Overarching
problem
“The overarching problem is stated with the assessment of
research rationale that defines how diversity within the
workplace, if not managed, can bring lack of communication
and without any shared vision and objectives to be achieved.
The problem of communication and lack of engagement of
employees can also affect innovation negatively as well as
hinder the business performance due to sharing and exchange of
views and opinions (Piwowar-Sulej 2014)”.
Overarching
research aim
The research aims to evaluate the impact of leadership
on the management of diversity within the workplace of ICICI
Bank in Andhra Pradesh, India.

What can be the impact of leadership on the ways of
engaging employees together at ICICI Bank’s
workplace?
How the leaders can maintain a good culture within
workplace?
Is it necessary to consider the individual views and
opinions of organizational members before making a
