Introduction
The presentation is based on the impacts of external
environment factors on the health and social care
organisation. The different ways that are used by
enterprises to respond their external stakeholders are also
described here.

Impact of external Environmental Factors
• Political factors: Government are making various
taxation policies that are affecting negatively on the
organisations. Because large sum of money goes on
paying those taxes only. But as Voluntary Service
Overseas (VSO) is a UK based Charitable organisation
that are depending on its volunteers.

• Economic factor: This also effects positively on the
enterprise as if the overall economy of nation increases
then some of the shares are provided to this organisation
also. So, it is very beneficial for them.

• Technological factor: Management of health centres are
using modern technology of internet and by this they are
able to offer online treatment to their clients. People can
take the appointment of available doctors by sitting on
their home only.

• Environmental factors: These are those factors that are
affecting negatively on the functioning of health centres.
As due to increase in the number of auto-mobiles,
pollution are touching the height of sky.

Ways in which organisations respond to
the impact of external factors
• Consumers: They are nothing but patients. They have
many expectations from health centres. They want proper
care and treatment from doctors and nurses present over
there. So that they can recover easily from their diseases.

doctors, nursers, other people who are engaged in
maintaining cleanness have different expectations. They
all wants their wages at specific dates.

• Investors: There are various investors who are investing large sum
of money in health centre. They are hoping that they should get
some amount of money in return of that. So that they can run their
business.

• Suppliers: Suppliers are also associated with the enterprise who
are responsible for supplying different services to organisation
like giving them medicines, water, foods, etc. to them.
