INTRODUCTION
As technology as well as transportation have become progressive, the business has
become more and more international. Also, new challenges and global strain, intentional
expansion has brought new jobs, economic opportunity and customer audiences. Globalisation
refers as an increase in the movement of products, services, people, capital and ideas across the
domestic border. The globalisation of business occurs when an organisation runs their operations
in several countries and supply to the global market. Through globalisation, people all over the
world have become more connected politically, socially and economically. It reflects a change in
a business from an organisation related with a single nation to one that runs in different
countries. The report will be based on Sasol Ltd. It is an incorporated energy and chemical
business firm based in Sandton, South Africa (Agarwal and Sambamurthy, 2020). In 1950, the
company was founded in Sasolburg, South Africa. In present times, this business produces and
deals in technology, considering synthetic fuel technology and develops diverse liquid fuels,
electrical energy and chemicals. This business operates mainly in the countries such as New
York, Gabon, United Kingdom, Mozambique, Australia, in addition to Frankfurt as well. The
company majorly focuses on its international expansion so there is a need to present an idea of
globalisation and its related risks or challenges. The current report will describe the influences of
internationalization on corporate leadership, workplace culture, corporate governance and
functions. Also, it will shed the light on the effects of ethical and sustainable globalisation on
workplace functions. Furthermore, there will be an evaluation of various ways decision-making
can work effectively in an international context. In the end, different routes have been analysed
through which a company can spread their business into overseas market.
