Introduction
This report will provide a creative addressing of the objectives. Literature review
regarding implementation of ICT in project management information system will be well
analysed. Selection of an organization will be performed. After completion of analysis of the
project recommendation of the web based project management tool will be made. Proper
justification behind choosing of the web based tools will also be performed.
Literature Review
The business organization that is chosen is Eftel Limited.
According to Angulo et al., (2017), main benefit that is provided in using of the ICT
system in project management process includes better project planning. With the help of the ICT
implementation better understanding of the previous tracking of data and helps in better
estimation of the project. Tracking of project evaluation is can be performed as per the
completion time of the project. Scheduling and time management is performed. Resource
allocation can be performed in a better manner. Development of project budget, communication
process also gets benefitted.
According to Sajid and Ahsan (2016), for implementation of ICT, specific requirements
must be met. The entire processing of ICT in the field of project management is diversified in 4
divisions. The 4 aspects are backup and archiving, usage of IaaS/ Paas system, ICT virtualisation
and ICT automation. The section of backing up and archiving will be having the features, namely
Server and data switch boards, UPS, Access control system. This section is termed as the Data
centres. The section of IaaS/PaaS includes LAN/ WAN. Wi Fi and VoIP are also include in this
section. This section is termed as the data networks. ICT virtualization section includes storage,

servers, database and middleware and web services. This section at a whole is termed as Server
Infrastructure. The section of ICT automation process includes notebook, desktops, workstation
and other smart devices. This section at a whole is termed as End user device and platforms.
According to Kim, Filali and Ko (2015), the main job of Backing and archiving includes
developing of proper data lifecycle which will help in archiving of cost functioning of Eftel
Limited. Usage of unicorn system is performed as per the Iaas, PaaS implementation. With the
help of the IaaS, PaaS complex demands of the clients of Eftel limited can be met of Eftel
Limited. ICT virtualization helps in proper optimisation of the system resources, which provides
proper development in technical level. For the proposition of the reliable virtualization ensures
the fact that implementing virtual desktop infrastructure VDI. Usage of the homogenous
hardware infrastructure will enable better commencement of the project. In the section of the end
user device and platform includes HW delivery and deployment of mobile device management
system. Security of the system is one of the major aspect that provides highest standards.
Optimal ICT infrastructure solutions are provided as per the information system and acquisition
costs.
Analysis of the chosen Organization
Eftel Limited organization is an internet service providing business organization, which is
based in Australia. A total of 120,000 active accounts are present in the business organization.
The business organization is based on service provided as per inclusion of DSL and dial up
internet access. Web hosting and telephony services are provided in the retail and wholesale
telecommunication sector. The products of Eftel Limited are provided with the nation wide
network of points. The services are provided in all the major cities of Australia. The network
architecture and technology used helps in better management of supply of voice and long

distance calls. Usage of high speed data along with the along with video conferencing process
benefits the customers who takes the service of Eftel Limited (Koehler, Newby and Ertmer
2017). The functioning of the Eftel Limited is diversified in 3 parts. The compartments can be
divided into wholesale, corporate and government departments.
In the Wholesale sector, the core business process has been expanded over time. New
services have been brought in, namely fixed and mobile vice. Imbibing of Ethernet, IP Transit,
Dark Fibre and ADSL has been increasing the efficiency of the business management process.
Eftel Limited has also invested on International network transmission as well as Points of
service. Eftel Limited has been focusing on the industry needs and hence the innovations that are
being brought by Eftel Limited had a better delivery range (Tan and Kim 2015). This
introduction of responsive innovation coupled with professional support will be acting beneficial.
The corporate section of Eftel Limited induces rapid growth in processing of Australia’s
largest Internet Service provider. Eftel Limited offers varied range of services that includes
ADSL, SHDSL, EOC and Web House hosting. Eftel Limited provide service as per the nation
wide networking process. The network architecture provides the benefit of long distance calls,
along with high speed data. Proper video conferencing facilities are also provided in this process.
Eftel limited also provides complete internet solutions for the government agencies, best
solution to seamlessly provide support to sections that will be having effective network solution.
Providing seamless solutions in first chance is the main motive of Eftel Limited. Provisioning of
DSL and Fibre community is one of the major aspect that will provide better protection in
content filtering.

Web based project tools
The web based project tool that is selected in this business management setup is Wirke.
Wirke is a privately held project management application server that provides services in the
field of project management. Wirke was found in the year 2006. Wirke released its beta version
in the year 2006 for benefitting the B2B category. Wirke project management software is mainly
based on platform of SaaS. The main objective of the software is to provide better streamlining
workflow and propose the workflow in the focus of core task (Yaqoob et al., 2017). A total of
12,000 companies have been using the service o Wirke. Wirke is designed as the minimalist
multi pane UI. The functioning of the project is diversified in 2 stages, namely project
management and team collaboration. This section helps in developing the system with proper
tracking of dates and assignments. Usage of Gantt chart is also made in this process. Wirke has
also come up with the ideology of free versions of the software for the team of maximum 5
members.
Justification
Usage of Wirke is done as the benefits that are provided are as follows: -
 Higher intuitiveness
 Better scalability
 Higher vendor reliability
Conclusion
From the above discussion it can be concluded that implementation of ICT in the
processing of the project management will help Eftel Limited in a better manner. Usage of Wirke

is also stated in this process.
