INFORMATION SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION PLANNING AT LILYDALE MOVIES31. Introduction:The information system is the technology that consist of various software and hardwareto gather information from levels of business and process it. The processed data are provided tothe management for assisting in better decision making. The study covers the issues that are needed to be resolved within Lilydale Movies. Basedon these issues the design and capability of the system will be determined. Scope of the systemalong with system deliverable and constraints has been provided. The system requirements hasbeen proposed within the report along with requirement gathering technique. 2. Problems:Lack of Communication within Organization: The major problem of Lilydale Movies isthat it does not have any link between the stores. Each store is running on individual software.These software does not communicate among each other or share information. Taken as anexample, if a movie is not present at a store but exists in another in more than required quantitythen there is no way than manual inspection to recognize the situation. A connected singlesoftware package or information system will allow the organization to manage the processes andstore from a single location. This will not only increase affectivity of business process but alsoincrease customer satisfaction level. Customer Management: The consumers will be able to purchase from different store andthe history of the consumer will be accessible from all store at real time thus providing all thebenefits to the consumer regarding the store location. The system may provide a unique numberto all the customers for better identification. The customer will not need to bother about anything
