EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Information system is a process that must be formal, socio technical and system of anorganization which they developed in order to collecting, processing, storing and distributingdata as well as information essential for a firm. This report is based on Sydney Medical Centrewhose is owner is Dr. Edwin and they are going to grow their practices at Sydney. For whichthey are developing information system which help them in managing data or information ofemployees and patients in effective manner. So in order to develop proper system they willanalysis their requirement. Then for development of system they may use various methods aswell as techniques. INTRODUCTION Information system refers to a procedure which is formal, socio technical and system of acompany that is developed for a purpose of collecting, processing, storing and distributinginformations as well as data (Rubel and Fay, 2012). Generally information system is composedby major four elements i.e. task, structure, peoples and technology. Along with this it is anetwork of software as well as hardware which is used by an organization. Organization takenfor this assignment is Sydney Medical Centre which is owned by Dr. Edwin and they aregrowing its practices in Sydney. For which they want to develop a information system whichhelp them in managing data or information of patients and employees in proper way. Topicscoved in this report are type of system required by SMC, analysis of facts and finding methodsand description of system development tool and development method that can be used by SMCfor developing system. MAIN BODY1 Type of system requirement which focuses on SMCManagement of staff data: Respective company required information system whichhelp them in maintaining data or information of patients, develop hourly appointment report,develop reminder for patients about appointment. Along with this they want system whichprovide all necessary information regarding appointment for a patients such as patient name,time, date, doctor name, doctor room, due amount, total payment and so on. Manage medical information of patients: SMC also want to develop system which canalso be used by company for managing data of employees such as their monthly insurance report,holiday management, store data as well as information securely and effectively (Černe, Jakličand Škerlavaj, 2013). Along with this they also want a information system that include allnecessary information and daily report of employees such as their work, patients whom theyhave to attain and many more. 2 Facts finding method which is appropriate for collecting data form employees at SMCFacts finding method refers to a process which is used by a company in order to collectinformation and data.
