managers' concern to keep the balance between business and information system. The
information system has an important role to deliver advantages to the business enterprises. To
keep maintain these issues, information system should be developed to innovate the business
process. However, in developing an information system, the information system process
improvement may obtain the possibility of information system development failures (Osei-Kyei
and Chan, 2015).
Therefore, to avoid the failures in implementing information systems there are some important
factors. Those factors are called critical success factors (CSF). Therefore, this study observes the
critical success factors (CSF) in information system development (ISD) projects. The critical
factors become the competitive affects the ability of the members of the production industry

factor that will yield positive results in terms of customer’s attraction.
1.1.2 Vehicle management
Time is factor of production and need to be considered most. The utilization of the vehicles in
terms of hour of the day will be of much importance for the asset. The managers should ensure
that within a very limited time possible, the vehicle is full to capacity at the time of departure.
1.1.3 People management
Productivity and morale are the key factors to consider in dealing with the people. The physical
service of ensuring that the vehicle is full to the capacity before the departure time makes the
level of a productivity of some personnel in respect to the group members and ensuring
customers are well taken care of. The morale on the other hand is the level of commitment a
person is willing to work with other people in providing the public transport services.

1.6 Overview of the current system
The current bus booking system is faced with a lot of problems in that there is much queuing by
the customers in the station. More delays are witnessed and this leads to a missed trip. The bus
station management is largely manual, a passenger gets in to the reception, goes around seeking
an available client to serve him or her space, and if identifies one he/she occupies it and the
luggage men and women comes to pick his or her luggage to the package area and offers the
receipt for the bus booking. This in itself means that a passenger must search for offices
attendants and if none exists, the passenger will still go around looking and hoping for luck.
Contrary to this an information system. The system was indeed a small class.
1.7 Flowchart
Flow charts are an important tool for the improvement of processes. By providing a graphical
representation, they help project teams to identify the different elements of a process and
understand the interrelationships among the various steps (Villa, Moreno, and Guzmán, 2018). Flow

1.8 Dataflow diagram
Data Flow Diagram is a representation of the flow or the movement of the information in an
information system graphically. This provided the client with an overview of the information
system without necessarily going deep into some other details of the same. In a data flow, of
importance is how the data in inputted to the system, the way it is processed and stored and the
final end result obtained from the system, that is the output (Tsai et al, 2013). The design of a
DFD requires the understanding of the symbols which have been standardized plus the
annotation that allows one to give a clear description of all the entities used in the system and
how each is related to one another. The overall process is concerned with the information that is
taken as an input, its flow to the storage point and the report that is generated after the processing
process comes to a completion.
The design of the urban transport management system utilizes the use of the logical and the
physical diagrams as the data flow diagrams. The logical diagram provides the overview in
which the information flows in the information system and achieves the stated objective of the
business while the physical diagram is solely concerned with the implementation of the logical
diagram.

2.1.2 MRPII
This is a system integrated with the methods of the operational and the financial planning for the
companies mostly the manufacturing. The early explained MRP has its own shortcoming which
can be addressed by the MRP II. Since the early deals with the design the MRP II considers
specific characteristics of the individual components of eh overall system. The proposed system
will be concerned with how the specific personnel will be working towards the achievement of
the company’s objectives.
2.1.3 EDI
This is the Electronic Data Interchange. The current flight center uses the system where the
records are kept on the papers. This poses a risk of losing some other important information
regarding to the vehicle reservations and the personnel confidential information. The problem
felt here in that there will be no privacy to some customers as papers can be disposed anyhow.
The proposed system will be much inclined with the use of the EDI. This electronic exchange
will be utilized for the success of the company. It will come along some important benefits not
only to the company but to the entire regions of operation.

2.3 Entity Relationship Diagram
In all the domains or the interesting aspects of life, an Entity Relationship Diagram is used to
provide a brief description of all the relationships between entities in a data model. It is
concerned with the database structure of each of the entities used in the design of a system. A
great importance of this is the design of a database, the debugging process is also met well
through the use of the Entity Relationship Diagram (Shah et al., 2018). The framework planner
will be required to have a reasonable comprehension of the Entity Relationship Diagram to have
an unmistakable leap forward of the database association thus driving up with a program that
completely meets the proposed purposes.
2.4 User views
To ensure that the system is fully complete, the whole stakeholders should see the system has an
integral part hence the success will be highly felt by all the people. Through this a system is
considered to be fully effective in its design. The proposed system came along with the
following benefits:
2.4.1 Increased production.
Based on the new system, more and more workers in the urban bus stations will be encouraged
to encounter with the system hence more interactions will lead to higher earing rates within the
organization. As a result, many more profits will be realized at the end of the financial period
(Xiong et al., 2018).
2.4.2 Increased trips
The number of passengers will also increase since there will be much confidentiality of their
private information. This will fasten the rate at which the receptionist will be handling the
clients. The system will also cater for the luggage hence allowing them to be ferried easily from
one end to the next.

concerned with the database structure of each of the entities used in the design of a system. A
great importance of this is the design of a database, the debugging process is also met well
through the use of the Entity Relationship Diagram (Shah et al., 2018).

2.4.3 Reduction in the production cost
The processing of the manual paper work will be reduced. This will be of importance since the
required materials for the preparation of the writing materials will be cut out and focus on the
new system. The newly introduced system will cater for all the expenses which could be incurred
hence making the production cost very low. This will allow the realization of huge profits among
other benefits.
2.4.4 Less user support was required.
Once the system will be put into full usage then the involvement of the personnel will be limited
since all the packages are integrated together. Only one single system designer will be required
to manage all the activities of the system just in case of any failure, but the overall performance
will be automated.
2.5 Potential risks, data breaches
Some of the risk that could arise in the development of the proposed system is the contamination
of the nearly water sources as a result of the hazardous materials that will be release from the
exchange or the transition of the old system to the new since there will be disposal of the used
papers previously. The testing phase or and the trial may come along with causes of accidents in
that many lives will be put to risk (Yu, 2015). This has call for a daily management of the risk and
the control of the hazards.
2.6 Conclusion
In this proposed work a helpful control approach for a smart city condition in view of pollution
detecting and activity data is presented. Where a System-of-Systems building plan paradigm will
be applied, a traffic control subsystem utilizes data from the city pollution detecting framework
for modifying the cycle length of the activity lights. Moreover, an agreement-based control
strategy will be produced to address particular issues related with traffic density and urban air

pollution. Discrete occasion framework detail will be utilized to speak to and reenact the entire
framework. This demonstrating paradigm serves to manage interoperability of heterogeneous
frameworks.
The proposed technique is assessed in a characterized situation. The investigation exhibits that
the proposed technique is an intense methodology to bargain at the same time with various
detecting frameworks and for incorporating data from pollution levels and traffic streams in
urban traffic gridlock systems. The outcomes are promising in light of the fact that the quantity
of vehicles in line diminished, while accord state variable at every crossing point tended towards
a typical esteem, showing the legitimacy of the proposed arrangement. Additionally, research
will be directed to test the arrangement in bigger and more unpredictable situation and to stretch
out the reenactment results to ongoing platforms.
