1. Introduction 1.1 Organization under study Frankie’s Pizza, Sydney mostly is focused on offering craft beer and customized pizza by the slice and the atmosphere is mostly of a restaurant cum bar. This particular evaluation is based upon the findings of the website for the organization Frankie’s Pizza which is established in Sydney, Australia. Therefore, the website is created keeping the atmosphere of the organization in mind. The bar inside the restaurant is ambiguous in nature and thus the entire website system is based upon the ambiguity of the bar inside the restaurant. The website provides information about how the booking of events and the ordering off the menu works. 1.2 Purpose The sole purpose of the proposal of a new system is to make the business automate their booking system to make the entire operational workflow system for Frankie’s Pizza to make it completely free of generic human errors. This system is thought to be improving the services to the customers and would help in retaining them. The implementation plan is cost effective as it would probably reduce the cost of staffing. It would help in the gain in customer retention and increase the customer base. It would help in providing better customer services. The website also depicts the same.The website provides embedded information by showing the message of “Absolutely no bookings, functions or doorlist. Everyone is welcome” which informs that the guests do not require booking for the restaurants. The Contact menu showcases the contact information for the restaurant for the users to get in touch or for band booking and
beer enquiries. Thus, it can clearly be understood that the entire booking system for Frankie’s Pizza is manual in nature. 1.6Proposed New Information System The proposed system is thought to be the online web based system for all required bookings and ordering for Frankie’s Pizza. This would help in ordering the collection online including the payment procedures and the customer service process. The portal on the proposed system would help in ordering the menu with the help of an ordering form, inquire about the events with an inquiry form and a customer portal as well. The customers would be provided with the ability of setting an order collection date and delivery options as the business would oblige.
