from entering into a personal system. They are responsible for killing the viruses which directly
attached to the firewall and it broke them down for security. It supports in upgrading the virus
database what helps in the automatic web crawler that is accountable for scanning the web and
identifying the malicious software just by their name and type. It also scans the route through
which the malicious software can be deleted and after completion of the scanning, preparation of
the program is done in order to fight against the Malware in the computer system. This software
has some merit such as they can detect the Malware and remove them. They can protect the
system from zero The Attacks. They can handle the system security. Moreover, they are easy and
centralized Management which renders effective defense against Malware (Talón-Ballestero,

What is Globalisation?
Globalization is the method of interaction and integration between governments and
companies along with the citizens of the nation worldwide. It is defined as the increasing
interdependence of the world economy cultures and population which are brought about by
cross-border trade in technology of goods and services and flow of investment information and
people. It is a process of movement and exchanges of the people all over the planet due to the
promotion and increment of interaction among various populations and regions around the globe.
There are several types of globalization for example financial globalization and technological
globalization along with the political globalization and economic globalization and many more
(Blazquez and Domenech, 2018).
What are the effects of IT on Globalisation?
There are various effects of Information Technology on globalization because it is a process
which drives the globalization in different manners. It is responsible for the comparison of
business enterprises in order to become the Global bye rising of the Economics of scale and the
market size needed to break even. Technology upgrades has lead in the reduction of
communication and transportation cost all over the planet and hence it provides the Global
Sourcing of different raw materials and inputs. Therefore, the technology which is patented
inspires the globalization because the company owning the patent has the right to exploit the
foreign markets without facing any competition. Information Technology has lead in The
Raising of the Global Village. For example, internet has resulted in the decrement of barriers of
place and time in context of business dealings. Commercial businesses can now make the

Disadvantages
There are various disadvantages of digital infrastructure in the company for example safety
and security of information is the major issue which is insecure for the data held by the
organization and it is needed to be protected from Data breaching and cybercrime. Hacking of
the system is the another major disadvantage because there are various factors which has been
the special knowledge of coding and can hack the system from anywhere and anytime in order to
misuse the data or any other thing (Adrian, Abdullah, Atan and Jusoh, 2018). They mostly attack
at the private and confidential data of the organization so that the company loses the data and
deals with the loss. Digital infrastructure is complex in nature because the installation of the

technology is complicated as it causes the high initial and maintenance cost and moreover it is
required to be updated on a frequent basis which is complex in nature.
Example
There are numerous examples of digital infrastructure such as the internet backbone,
communication cables, networks interrelationship, fixed broadband, business and data centers,
mobile telecommunications, internet services, communication satellite, internet of things, user
devices, communication satellite, network infrastructure, cloud computing, platforms and
Systems, API and integration are all the examples of digital infrastructure (Rahul, Banyal and
Goswami, 2020).
Task 5
What are the risks associated with information systems outsourcing?
There is various risk related with the information system Outsourcing for example
operations and transactions risk because all such things are done with the help of internet which
is a victim of cybercrime nowadays and therefore safety and security of the data is the major risk.
Confidentiality of information is another is because there is a big data which is stored in the
company and used for Data Analytics and that is needed to be protected because it is private in
nature and therefore it is risky to outsource over the internet. If the business is expanding all over
the planet, then it will contain a large amount of data which is very difficult to manage and
protect them and if company loses the data or breaches the data then it can result in a great loss
for the organization. Because of such risk associated with the information system outsourcing it
is important for the companies to take care of their big data and their systems from cybercrime
and cyber-attack with the help of laws and regulations associated with it.
Why is IT infrastructure so critical to digital transformation?
