Introduction
The purpose of this study is to explore the procedures, tactics, and ideas of IT platforms
in addition to evaluate the design and execution of Canvases and MS Office. Moreover, the
purpose of this research is to examine the concept of a managerial communications system as
well as an operational supporting partner, including graphics to assist and comprehend the
different IT systems. Globalization thus performs an important role in the growth and
expansion of IT solutions for organizations, particularly when paired with technological
developments and Big Data Analytic(Amin and et. al., 2021)..We also have arranged
numerous aspects relating to outsourcing digital technologies to enable people understand the
significance of contemporary innovation in IT infrastructure.
Task 1: Theories, methods and techniques which relate to
the design and development for TWO of the IT solutions
listed here: (i) McAfee; (ii) Moodle; (iii) Canvas; (iv) MS
Office
A group of computational programmes or services which function collectively
constitutes an enterprise technical system. Multiple programmes are grouped and promoted as
a unified batch. IT providers and telecoms businesses who are otherwise responsible for
actively supporting the notion of specific IT products and obtaining the merchandise or
service to provide our customers with that kind of a cognitive perspective to one‘s concern in
a difficult situation establish and compose the service contract that sent advanced
technologies in which it happens to match. Many vendors and software developers
collaborate to offer technological options. Take anti-virus software that can be employed to
deal with a particular problem in a computer system, like eradicating dangerous viruses.
Canvases' administrative software promotes computer memory gathering and reporting by
replacing target context with personalised information, leading in uniqueness and
development in communicable and electronic connections. Canvases employs a number of
ways to help participatory learning platforms, ranging from planned educational Pathways to
responsive data gathering methods. Canvases reduces complications and provides innovative
data to IT businesses by supporting users with a wide of regular and non-traditional
programmers. MS Office provides IT solutions to clients' problems by maintaining data
security and providing support with machine concerns. The goal of MS Office is to help
organizations with management and to simplify the construction and deployment of different
IT solutions, like McAfee Canvases and MS Office, simpler. An efficient business
understanding might well be handled by creating and distributing different IT Solutions
utilizing MS Office that requires and protects a company's enormous quantities of figures by
preserving its huge awareness and having choices for internet security and information
management(Anyansi-Archibong, 2021).
Task 2: Explanation of the systems below with relevant
examples
DSS (Decision Support System)
This is the computer programmer application which is used to improve the decision making
capabilities of the business organization. This application is involved in analyzing the large

amount of data and presents an organization with the the best possible options available. It
help the business enterprises in management, operation and the planning level in order to
make effective decisions process by appraising significance of the uncertainty and trades
people involve to make one decision over the another decision. GPS route planning is an
example of the DSS system as DSS used to pan best and fastest route between the two points
by examine all the available options. Sometimes, these system include capability in order to
monitor the traffic in a real time to path around the congestion(Attatsitsey and Osei-
Bonsu, 2021).
ESS (Executive Support System)
It is a referred as the computer based tool which offers the top mangers with
capability in achieving an easy access to external and internal information which is helpful
for the company in the strategic decision making a reporting software or tool which that
allow the user to turn their organizational data as into a useful summarized reports. In the
organization, executive level mangers uses these rep[rot for a quick access for reporting come
from all the company's department and level including staffing, cost accounting, scheduling,
billing and many more. For example, the Cambridge systematic has an ESS to help Ministry
of Transportation in their investment planning process.
TPS (Transaction Processing System)
It is known as the information processing system for the business transactions which
involve in the collection, modification and retrieval of the transnational data this is also
defined as the real time processing application. The transaction processing and traction
process system are often contrasted with the batch processing and batch process system,
where several request are executed at same time. To attain the performance consistency and
reliability, data must be promptly accessible in the data warehouse. Example of the TPS are
payroll, shipping, hotel reservation, sale order entry and many more(Contreras Sánchez,
2021)..
MIS (Management Information System)
The management information system is an information system which is used by the
business organizations for the decision making and for the coordination, co0ntrolling,,
analyzing and visualizing of the complex data or the information for the business
disorganization. The study of the management information system involves people,
processes and technology in context of the business enterprise. It include departments,
projects, finances, clients and other types of the data. Examples of the MIS software are
Fleetmatics Work, Tharstern Limited, Microsoft Dynamics and Clarity Professional MIS
KSM (Knowledge Management System)
It is the IT system where the business organization can store, retrieve knowledge to
improve understanding, collaboration and process alignment. This exist within the
organizations or teams, this also can be used by the people to center the knowledge based of
the different customers. This system helps in promoting he integrated approaches which can
help in identifying, capturing, measuring, retrieving and sharing all organizational
information assets. This system has the various types such as customer relationship
management, applicant tracking system, feedback database, shared project file and so on.

Task 3: Globalisation and the effects of IT on globalisation
Globalization means the changes which are made according to the situations or at the
time of expanding the organization at international level. It includes investment, technology,
culture, goods and services and so on. All these elements are important to maintain effective
connectivity with customers for long time.(Fahd and et. al., 2021)
The effects of IT in globalization are -
High use of internet – It means that in today's time internet is one of the element
which is consumed by all categories of consumers at high rate. Internet basically
refers to the group of networks which is essential for sharing the information between
multiple users easily from any locations. In this process employees are also focused
on maintaining effective communication with users with help of online portals and
apps at time of delivering services. Due to this it is highly important for many
organization to take care of IT department in effective manner.
Use of advanced equipments – It refers to effective utilization of different types
technological equipments by employees and customers. In today's time the preference
and trends of the country or people are changing constantly. Due to this demand of the
services and goods are enhanced at high rate. For reducing this problem many firms
started to use AI technology in their services and operational activities. With help of
this technology company easily produce the best quality product in the workplace in
fast manner.(Maku, Alimi, and Ogwumike, 2021).
Use of software's – It is related to those software which is directly installed by the IT
workers in various equipments. In this software machines are worked automatically
for producing the product. This software is also essential for maintaining effective
link with customers at the time of buying product or making money transaction.
Therefore due to globalization all types of organization are decided to increase the use
of software's in their activities at global level. Software includes programming
software's, emails and others. With help of these software positive word of mouth are
increased in effective manner by customers.
Task 4: Definition, example, advantages and
disadvantages of digital infrastructure
The digital infrastructure is defines as the digital technologies which provides the foundation
for an organizations information technology and operations. Digital infrastructure explains
that without any geographic limitation, the assets which are mainly related to Internet and
mobile communication, including spectrum,, data centers, small cell networks, macro cell
towers, fiber network and many more. Digital infrastructure represent requirement of
physical assets to operate the technologies such as computing , digital communication and
data storage. Digital infrastructure has its own advantages and disadvantages which are
discussed below:
Advantages
The main advantage of the digital infrastructure is if any data has been misplaced or
been deleted it can be restored from the cloud easily.
It helps in enhancing the enterprises profitability by reducing their expanses and cost.
It determine the behavior of company's customer to increase organizational
5

productivity and growth. With the help of internet cloud infrastructure, the company
can increase its efficiency and productivity by make it sure that their data always
accessible to the users.
Another benefits of digital infrastructure is low cost of maintenance as the cloud
services reduce the software and hardware maintenance fee for organization.
It keep the client's data secure and provide them service of data security. They build
trust among its customer that their personal data are very secure and safe
It permit its user to a quick and smooth approach all the stores data at any time and
any place in whole universe by using the internet connection or having an excellent
accessibility.
It make easy to its user to easily and promptly sharing of data in the cloud by using
cloud via shared storage for improving the collaborationist.(Nathaniel, Nwulu
and Bekun, 2021).
Disadvantage
For accessing the stored data in cloud, it require an excellent internet connectivity
which is not possible every time and every place. It is very difficult the availability of
network at every location.
There is a limited control in the cloud infrastructure as one individual mange and
control it who provide the services. Due to this, user enjoys very less control on
execution of the available services.
Modern digital infrastructure is very harmful for the environment as it create several
issue sin surrounding. As the technology spread much air pollution in manufacturing
of products, which cause many disease. The individual's health impacted badly by this
Vendor lock, create many problem due to which the organization has to face many
issue during transportation of their goods and services in different place. Technically,
it create various issues in transferring of files and other any data from one to other
services provided at different platform or level(Nguyen, Dang and Nguyen, 2021)..
Task 5: Risks associated with information systems
outsourcing and why is IT infrastructure so critical to
digital transformation!
Risks associated with information systems outsourcing
In the changeable and fast paced corporate world, the information system become
more complex and sophisticated, and its very difficult to mange them. It is unsafe for the
organization to keep their respective information system outside from the organization. So to
ensure the success of business, it is essential for the organization to optimize their process of
management in building and deploying the information system which minimize the risk.
Some major risks are associated with the information system outsourcing including,
inexperienced staff, loss of control and other which are mentioned below:
Loss of control- When a business transfer the responsibility to another organization
to run and development of its information system, then it may loss the functional
control of information system.
Vulnerability of the strategic information- The trade secretes and proprietary
information may leaked to rivals in course of the information system. The information
leakage can be specific damaging.
6

Inexperienced staff- It is one of the biggest risk to hire an inexperienced workers for
managing the process involved. Because the information system outsourcing verify
the experience and knowledge of the outsourcing provider.
Dependency on business of vendor- when the outsourcing information system ,
organizations become dependent on vendor's viability. If a vendor face the financial
problems the it can create various problems for their clients. To address risk of the
outsourcing information system, the it is suggested to simulate crisis with vendor to
analyze that how vendor responses quickly(Wu and Chiou, 2021).
Why is IT infrastructure so critical to digital transformation!
Effective infrastructure of information system played crucial role for
maintaining smooth process between firm and consumer in digital manner. It is the backbone of
whole IT system within the organization. The other important point is that for establishing
effective technology in their organization huge investment are done by company. Because without
investment and maintenance equipments are not worked systematically for long time . But the
ultimate motive of IT department of any organization is to maintain security in confidential
information of the customers at any situation. Because for organization customer is the most
important asset for increasing sale in their product in effective manner. With help of technology
difficult work are also done in fast and easy manner. It leads to increase the growth of employees
in long run.( Zhang and et. al., 2021)..
Conclusion
From the above report it is concluded that the information technology is the important
aspect for the business organizations. The management information system is the study of the
various aspects including the information and technology. The information system helps the
business organization in decision making with the various aspects. It also helps in collecting the
large data set with the company and the information can be used by the organization in order to
make nay changes in required by the organization. There are various types of information system
such as DSS, TPS, ESS, KMS. The globalization means the changes which are made according to
the situations or at the time of expanding the organization at international level. It includes
investment, technology, culture, goods and services and so on.
