There are different types of tools and techniques which gives assistance in developing and
designing the IT solutions, form which some of them discussed below: -
MS office- The MS office is basically a set of computer system or the software which
helps the business enterprise in the various aspect in order to conducts the business
operations in an effective and efficient manner. The MS office is the software which is
designed by the company Microsoft where there are various components included such as
word, power point, excel. These elements helps the business organisation in maintaining the
large set of data in an effective manner. It is very important for the business organisation to
maintain such applications in order to function in a smooth and effective way. This also
helps the business organisation to keep their documentation in a more secured way. It is very
important that this tool or technique is used by the business organisation in order to gain
competitive advantage and prepare report in an effective manner. (Piltyay, S.,

McAfee- This is defied as the company which was established in 1987 and the founder of
the company is John McAfee. This is considered as the most significant part for the security
division of the Intel. This is the well known security brand which is used by the organisation
in order to gain competitive advantage. The various digital platforms provide security in
order to be effectively manageable for the business organisation. This is the application
which helps the business enterprise with the various threats such as hacking, spammers

DSS- This is known as the decision support system which is used by the various business
organisation in order to analyse the various aspect of the functioning of the employees. This
software helps the organisation to make an effective judgement or decision in order to
improve over the services of the enterprise in order to satisfy customers demands. This gives
support to the management system by providing the outcome of the various working within
the organisation. This helps in improving the decision making process.
ESS- This is defined as Executive support system which is the another application or the
software taken into consideration in order to transform the data in to the optional accessible

and executive reports for the business organisation. This is the system which not only help
the company is making quick decision but it also helps in improving the production and the
services. This is the system which helps in evaluating the performance of the business
organisation. The company is able to analyse the statistical data in an effective manner.

TPS- This is defined as transaction processing system which is used by the business
organisation which includes collecting, modifying and retrieving of the information so that
the company is able to examine the performance in an effective and efficient manner this is
the software which helps in the business organisation in the reliability and consistency
which improves the performance of the business enterprise. This is the process or the system
which helps in collecting the important data for the companies in order to conduct the
business operations effectively. This support system permit the company in order to enhance
the transaction process and collect the important data which is assist in accessing the overall
positioning of the firm. Along with this, with the help of this support system the upper level
management of the company can take the important decision by analysing the data which
result in improving the business performance. (Al-Qaysi, N., Mohamad-Nordin, N.
and Al-Emran, M., 2020)
MIS- this is defined as the management information system which is used by the business
organisation in order to gather the most important information to improve the operational
activities of the business enterprise. The management information symmetry help the
companies in developing the reports in an effective manner. Through these system the
companies are able to develop the effective strategies which help the business organisation
in developing the better customer experiences. The management information system also
helps the companies in managing the different aspect where the employees are able to work

KSM (Knowledge Management System) : It is organised and shared knowledge that
helps significant role in assisting the customers and employees. The Knowledge
Management system allows the employees to access the information to quickly response the
customers. It is an effective information system that improves its understanding, integrate
and restore the relevant information. An organisation can use the collected data in most
useful manner to make it more productive and foster the organisational culture. It overcome
the barriers that may arise due to complexity of business problem and ease the mode of

Globalisation refers to the integration of various business in order to trade and earn higher
profit in the international market. Due to emergence of globalisation and industrialisation , the
innovative approach of various companies bring major change in the IT world. It enhance the
technological upgradation of various industries and ease in operation of a business. Globalisation
promotes the various strategies and plan framed by the organisation to gain competitive advantage
in the international market. The brand value and goodwill can be created if an organisation have
innovative plans and technology that enhance the profit earning capacity of their business and
reduce the wastage of resources. It is effectively managing their strategic plans and policies to
easily compete with the other retailing company. IT globalisation helps to expand the business by
providing effective customer care service to them so that they can easily redress their problems and
give them better solution. Globalisation helps the company to create large base of consumer by
giving more importance to their need and demand. However, the information technology plays
crucial role in the modern world, specially when the invention and creativity ideas continuously
boost an economy of the world.

THE RISK ASSOCIATED WITH INFORMATION SYSTEMS OUTSOURCING
There are various kinds of risk that are involved with the information system outsourcing that
creates barriers while operating a business. The management of a company is managed their plans
to rescue the potential risk that may affect the functioning of an organisation. However, the
different types of risk are discussed below:
Cost Involved: There are various cost which involves with the outsourcing information system as it
may enhance the overall expense of an organisation to manage it. This cost may affect the
productivity and revenue of an organisation. This may lower down the operation and reduce their
earning capacity.(Luo, C., Li, T., Huang, Y. and Fujita, H., 2019)
Inexperienced professionals: It requires highly skilled and experienced staff to manage the
valuable information of a business. Due to inexperienced staff, company are not able to effectively
manage the vital information this may lead to reduction in their customer base and competitive
spirit.

Less control: Due to market instability and dynamic business environment , it is quite challenging
for an organisation to make direct control over the business function and involvement of thrid
parties third party yo avoid risk.

information of the business to gain competitive advantages over the others. It provide flexible and
reliable information to its users. The IT infrastructure helps to ensure better connectivity,
productivity to maintain consumers trust and faith in the market. There are different application that
boost their overall performance and improves potential customer relations. It helps the business to
perform certain marketing activities in order to promote their product in the market and reduce the
