Introduction
The internet is the network of devices which network connectivity allowing to
exchange data. The information system is study of academic systems in reference to
information and networks of hardware and software which is used by organization for
collecting, processing, storing data. It is also referred as computer system where software are
installed. Personal computers, smartphones, databases are some example of information
system. The information system is used by enterprises for interaction with the customers, to
perform business operations, managing organization etc. The big data is concept of managing
large and complex data sets that conventional process application software were inadequate
to capture, manage and process data within a reasonable amount of time (Al_Janabi, end
et.al., 2018). Using big data in companies helps improve business operations and provides
better services to its customers, thereby increasing the company's overall bottom line and
sales. The document covers big data and its characteristics, challenges, and techniques of big
data that organizations can have. It also describes how big data technology supports the
business, which helps in decision making.
What big data is and the characteristics of big data
The big data can be utilized for prognostic and user synthetic behavior. It is a field of
analysis and extracting information or dealing with data sets which are too large or complex
that can be deal by traditional data processing information. Its is usage of advance analytic
techniques which involves structured, semi-structured and unstructured data form different
sources in diverse sizes from terabytes to zettabytes against large data sets. It generally
involves the collection of large data which is too complex which cannot be interpreted by
humans or traditional data management sets (Boyapati, S., Swarna, S.R., Dutt, V. and Vyas,
N., 2020). In the organization to use and track big data sets new software development is
introduced. Henceforth, big data analytic tool tracks relationship among hundred kinds and
data sources for producing useful business ability.
The identifying are-
 Volume- This is associated with huge size which is create from respective daily
origin like devices, social media, human interactions, networks etc. The large amount
of data is handle by big data technologies.
 Velocity- It defines to fast petition and production of big data. It is related to speed
which creates data in real time which comprises relating of data sets speeds, rate of
