INTRODUCTION
Digital technology is one of the most important aspect of the present organisation. It helps the
organisation to achieve different types of their goals and objectives. There are number of
resources are present in the organisation which requires to be increases and it is possible due
to digitization .Advantage of the digital infrastructure is that it helps to develop
effective communication in the organization which helps to interact different
employees. It is necessary for an organization that they should use effectively all the
information which assists in management decisions at different levels. This report provides
brief discussion related to different theories and and method which can be used by the
individual to develop these technological solutions. This report also states description related
to the globalization and the impact of information technology on the globalization. It also
states various segments shows digital infrastructure along with their advantages and
disadvantages. It states the risk present in te development of information technology
software’s.
Task 1
Theories, methods and techniques which relate to the design and development for TWO of
the IT solutions listed here: (i) McAfee; (ii) Moodle; (iii) Canvas; (iv) MS Office
McAfee-
It is one of the most popular and commonly used software which is used by the individual in
the computer to protect their system from the different types of viruses. These viruses are
very harmful for the performance of the computer because it neglects the speed of the
computer and makes them stop from performing. It is one of the online method of protecting
the computer from different types of viruses. It is regarded as the oldest antivirus of the
market which is used by many business organizations and other institutions. One of the
attractive function of this software is that it provides cyber security measures to many
business organization along with their effective services.
Method and Techniques of McAfee-
Behavioral detection-this system of the software generally detect those virus which
is common in nature and makes the computer run smoothly. It is maintly detect those virus
which enters in the system and disable the anti-virus so that the cyber security can be
maximized.

Heuristic based detection- It is related to those system of the anti-virus which is
used to detect those type of viruses which came in the system with group or many viruses.
This set of the antivirus are based on the algorithm and it becomes one of the important
feature of the anti-virus.
Cloud Antivirus- It is related to those system of the anti-virus which is developed
by the company to detect those viruses which are present in the server and manty harm the
computer. These type of antiviruses came in the computer through internet sources.
MS Office-
Microsoft office id one of the most commonly and biggest software of the computer which is
used in all over the world. The popularity of the software is reflecting from the growth of
their company. Microsoft is one of the biggest organization of the world whose revenue are
calculated in biggest companies. This organization are developing in the year 1990 by their
founder Bill gates with an aim to introduce the world with the power of computer and
internet. There are different types of software’s are present in the market which is developed
by Microsoft and these software’s helps the business organizations to conduct their different
function of the business. This software are MS office, MS excel, PowerPoint and many more
these software’s not only perform for the business organizations but also helps common
people to conduct their day to day activities.
Methods and Techniques of MS office-
Real time co-authoring- It is one of the most important method of the software
which is used by the managers of the organization to develop effective and friendly working
environment in the organization. This software of the company enables the employees of the
organization to become more productive and achieve their goals and objectives.
Attachments- It is related to those system of the software which enables the users of
the system to attach different types of files, images and pdf along with their basic file which
is developed to send to another person. It is important for the user of the system that t\hey
understand this function clearly so that they can take benefit from there feature.

Explanation of the systems below with relevant examples
DSS (Decision Support System)
It is one of the important computer programmer which is used by the users of the
system to develop effective determination and judgement related to various aspect of the
business in the organization. This system is used by the managers of the organization when

the level of data are very huge and not possible for simple calculations. It is one of the
important function for the organization because it helps the organization to develop effective
and efficient decision in the organization. This system of the company has analyses different
types of data and the summaries them to makes the value from it for the organization. There
are many example is present of this system but the most favorable example of this GPS. It is
an effective feature which is used to analyses the location with the help of navigation tools.
ESS (Executive Support System)
It is one of the important system which is used by business organizations in their working sue
to their effectiveness and success in the market. This system is used to convert the huge
amount of business data into simple and summaries them to develop effective report which
can easily be read and understand by different stakeholders of the company. These reports are
use by top level managers of the company to evaluate the position of different departments of
the company. There are many departments are present in the organization such as accounts,
production, sale, marketing and many more. These departments has given raw data which is
summaries by this system and makes them useful and compatible for the users. Cambridge
Systematics is a one of the example of Executive Support System that provide the support to
the investing designing process of the Ministry of Transportation.
TPS (Transaction Processing System
Transaction processing system is related to those system of the information technology which
is used by the management of the organization to gathered, stored and change the transaction
data of the organization in effective report and be accessible for different types of people. It is
one of the important function of the technology which helps the organization to develop
effective transaction framework in the organization and enables the company to accept the
transaction from all over the world. There are three main feature of this system which are
performance consistency and reliability. This system are also regarded as the real time
processing system because this system helps the company to record all the transaction of the
business in their real time. There are different types of example are present in the marklet in
relation to this system because and one of the most important example this is POS point of
sale.
MIS (Management Information System)
Management information system refers to those system of the organization which is used by
the company to gather and manage the useful information and data of the company in

systematic manner. There is huge amount of information are present in the organization in
relation to the employees, projects, sales, production, marketing and many more. It is very
important for the management of the organization to develop effective management
information system in their organization so that the information can be managed and
effectively record so that it can used at different level of the business. Examples of MIS are
sales management system, management reporting systems and inventory control system that
are used in different department on the organization in effective manner.
KSM (Knowledge Management System)
This system is quite similar to the management information system which is used by the users
to gather and stored the information in order to develop effective collaboration with the
others. This system are based on three factors such as intelligent techniques, knowledge work
systems and enterprise wide knowledge

Globalization and the effects of IT on globalization
Globalization is related to those aspects of the world under which the effective connections
are developed between countries of the world with the helps trade and commerce. Under the
concept of globalization, all the countries of the world try to established different types of
relations with other countries of the world so that their business can buy and sell goods and
services from one country to another. There are many benefits are present of this concept
because of their increasing importance. One of the most important benefit of the globalization
is that it helps to promote the culture of one country in another country. It helps the people of
one country to make their business in another country of the world.
Information technology plays an important role in the development of the concept of
globalization in the market. The information technology helps the business organizations to
established their business in the market of international countries. There are number of things
are conducted by information technology to promote the concept of globalization ion the
market. One of the most important support provide by information technology in the
globalization is to develop effective networking tools which established the communication
between the organization so that they can interact with the employees sitting on another
country. The another benefit of management information system is that it develops the
concept online payment system. It refers to those system of the payment under which one
person can make the payment from any place of the world without the involvement of the

Definition, example, advantages and disadvantages of digital infrastructure
Digital infrastructure is related to those framework of the organization which is related to
the presence of technology and innovation in the organization. It is very important for the
management of the organization that they develop effective and efficient digital framework
in the organization so that the technology and innovation can be developed in the
workplace. There are some advantages and disadvantages are present in the organization
which are given below:
Advantages
 One of the most important advantage of the digital infrastructure is that it

interact different employees.
 Another advantage of the traditionalist helps to increase the sustainability and
productivity in the organization.
Disadvantages
 One of the greatest disadvantage of the digital infrastructure is that it
increases the fear of cyber attack on the organization as well to increase the
threat of data leak which is related to the buyers of the company.
 The management of the organization has required huge storage so that they
can store the useful information in their organization which becomes reason to
purchase cloud services which is expensive for the organization.

Lack of Professionalism- If the level of professionalism are less in the
organization than the number chances of data misuse are more in the organization which is
not suitable for users data.
Why is IT infrastructure so critical to digital transformation!
It is very important for the organization that they develop effective digital framework in
the organization so that the company can improve their business processes. It is essential for the
company they develop information technological structure in the organization so that the aim and
goals related to the digital transformation can be achieved effectively. There are different types of
technology and framework has to developed by the organisation if they want to enjor the benefit
of of digital organisation. There are many challenges has to face by organisation if they wanted to
develop information technology structure in the organisation. One of the greatest challenge faced
by the company in this regard is that it required huge capital by the company. There are many
technologies and machinery has to purchased by the organisation if they want to develop effective
and efficient digital criteria in the organisation so that the number of resources can be achieved.
