Executive summary
The industry of healthcare had become a particular industry which consists of a huge potential.
This century had witnessed a great leap in the information technology. This project would help health
care institutes to carry out their activities in an effective way. They are allowed to do this along with
maintaining the quality of their projects. This project describes regarding various aspects that are
included in the implementation of information system in the institutes of healthcare.

1 Project introduction
The field of healthcare had witnessed a fast metamorphosis in all the sections along with
immense increase advancement in the field of the technology, medical industry had made it even large
which has made the entire process even more sophisticated, cure oriented and diagnostic. The industry
of healthcare had become a particular industry which consists of a huge potential. This century had
witnessed a great leap in the information technology. This project would help health care institutes to
carry out their activities in an effective way. They are allowed to do this along with maintaining the
quality of their projects. They would be allowed to schedule the appointments of the patients with
their respective doctors, it would also store data regarding the disease along with the medications that
are being used by the doctors in order to treat the patients.
1.1 Project aim and expectation
The main purpose of this particular project includes creation of an application named “information
system for hospitals” which would allow overcoming various problems, these problems are as follows
 The main problem is that there is no system that would be available for acting as a particular
medium between various doctors as well as patients.
 It would provide access to people that want to keep track of the medications that they are
going through.
 This would also put an end to the issue of setting an appointment with the respective doctors.
 Maintenance of records is also very easy because this application is able to store all statistics
such as number of patients, number of patients that a doctor has on a particular day.
1.2 Objective
The main objectives of this particular report are mentioned below
 Keeping records of admitted patients
 Placing healthcare of patients as the first priority
