The chosen structure of thisassignment is annotated bibliography consists of lost of citations of peer reviewed articles.AAHS are veterinary hospital which runs for few years within Brisbane Southside and GoldCoast. Due to great demand, the hospital has expanded their branch offices into other locations.Dr Terry King started the first AAHS clinic and excited about growth of the hospital. Dr Terry isworried about complexity as well as cost of set up the information system. The consultantprovides options for information system which will address the concerns of AAHS. Theparticipation of the stakeholders for development into healthcare informatics includes a promisethat contribution of stakeholder influences the decision. The management strategies reduce anddiminish resistance to the changes into the organization. The healthcare providers are generatedof medical records and clinical systems to protect the data and keep them secured. The literature review analyzes six different articles based on the questions. It analyzes thebest solutions required for AAHS, engagement of stakeholders into implementation ofinformation system into the organization and provides features of integrated health system. Thepaper also identifies the security issues into the organization due to implementation ofinformation system. Annotated BibliographyReference 1: “Aijing, L. & Jin, Y., 2015. This information system is required for the future operations ofAAHS. This cloud based technology is a technical solution to the information technology. Itbecomes a future direction and development of AAHS hospital services. The business andsystem related problems are about safety, security of the data across the sites, logistical issueslike patient treatment notes, staff files, timesheet of the staffs, processing of payroll as well asconducting of the regular staff meetings.
2ASSIGNMENT 1: LITERATURE REVIEW SEARCHI will use this article to support the responses to the question numbers one, three and four.In my point of view, hospital management information system is the best business solutions forAAHS. Based on the cloud platform, it reduces the investment into the data along withimproving maintainability of the system (Aijing & Jin 2015, p.522). These article is discussedthe business and system problems, informational requirements of the hospital and managing theirbusiness problems, making business decisions and fulfilling the information requirements. Thepurpose of HIMS is to manage the aspects of the operations of hospital like financial, legal andadministrative problems. It also manages information which is related to patient records as wellas hospital inventory. There is requirement of information system for improving access to thepatient’s information throughout use of electronic information system. It streamlines theinformation flow of patient with accessibility of doctors and healthcare providers (Aijing & Jin2015, p.525). Internet serves the business tocreate opportunities to network, communication and collaborate with the stakeholders. There isneed of digital communication to store, access and develop the electronic patient’s records.Extranet Connects of different intranets to facilitate of cooperation for the information sharing.I will use this article to support the responses to the questions three and five asstakeholder engagement is highly required into implementation of management informationsystem to gain competitive advantage of AAHS. The stakeholders say the decisions about theactions which affect the implementation of information system (Yip, Phaal & Probert 2014,p.57). Connectivity among the health ICT and operating environment emerged which provideimpact on decisions of the engagement of stakeholder into early stage of the development stages.Engagement of the stakeholders maximizes the potential to use of healthcare information.
