possible. Report has discussed collaboration tool like Slack and Google docs which helps

safety measures are also suggested in order to deal with cyber attacks. Safety of data is one of the
most important thing and during pandemic cyber crimes has increased. So that is why

INTRODUCTION
Information and communications technology (ICT) is the elaborated term of information
technology. It is the process which enable modern computing. ICT uses both internet which is
supported b wired network and also mobile which is supported by wireless networks. It also
involves other technology like radio, telephones, television etc. information technology is very
useful for the business. As it evaluate the data and help business to do planning by using current
trends and information (Abraimova, 2020). ICT also provides advanced tools to the business
which is helpful for the business in crossing hurdles and also help to attain objectives of the
organisation. During pandemic or covid crisis ICT has helped businesses in many ways. Due to
pandemic lockdown has occurred, information technology enable employees to work from home.
Employees have started working from home by using computers and internet which comes under
IT only. In earlier days when technology was not evolved it was not possible for employees to
work from home.
The main purpose of this report is to understand the concept of ICT and how it is helping
businesses. This report will discuss about project collaboration tools and it is helping companies
in order to survive in covid 19. Further it will analyse cloud storage and computing and how
businesses are taking advantage from them. It will also discuss privacy and security issues which
is facing by online businesses. As for online business, it is very common to face privacy
challenges.

According to Desmond (2017) ,Project management tools are pieces of software that are
used by managers to simplify the tasks and achieve better results in the future. These tools are
been made to offer wide range of functionality so key tasks can be easily carried out. Other
author Angara, (2020) critically analyzed that collaboration tools chosen must be such that they
have ability to solve every challenge faced by any firm. Further, they are selected only when they
fit the practical needs of managers so that desired goals and objectives could be achieved in a
limited time frame. Example of such project collaboration is slack and trello which are the most
effective tools that can be used by organisation.
