Information technicology is mainly comprised of networks which helps in processing
data and creating various databases for helps the company for solving. Using the information
technology in the business helps in solving and achieving the business success by using various
apps, processing faster and making innovation by using the technologies for boosting the
productive workforces in the company. IT plays important role in achieving success by
efficiently performing various task and facing challenges with solving technology in easy
manner. Tesco recognised as the multinational retailer serving various food and non-food
products to the large number of consumers. The company is mainly serving various products for
fulfilling the satisfaction of consumers with providing goods at less prices. This report provide
details about using the Information technology in the businesses. Discussing the different types
of software used by the business. Also discussing about the ethical and social issues important in
the digital world with discussing the importance. Further the ICT makes businesses more
efficient and effective for responding the needs of consumers with discussing the impact of
internet and intranet in business. Lastly defining and discussing the role of IT in helping th

Various software used by the business as it helps in better processing and using the
automated data. It also helps in storing and processing with gaining the business efficiency. With
using various software helps in standardizing the efforts made and enhancing the productivity as
for focusing on the profits and expanding the business operations.
Demand forecasting software
Demand forecasting systems used by various businesses, it mainly helps for planning and
managing the inventory and production for future generating the sales by fulfilling the future
demand of consumers. According to the (Synteto and Boylan, 2021) It is mainly used for
predicting the long term needs of the businesses as also in the HR resources used for forecasting
the various individual required for fulfilling the required demand of the company.
Scheduling management system
scheduling management systems is used by various business as for maintaining,
managing, controlling and scheduling the equipments and various other resources used for

completing and achieving the business objectives. As per the view point of (Kintsakis,
Psomopoulos and Mitkas, 2019) This software mainly helps in scheduling various task for
achieving the desired result of the company as helps in tracking about the daily scheduling for
accomplishing gaols. It is used for on site monitoring and interacting with all employees for

turnover rates. As of using the point of sales and reordering systems helps in defining and
measuring the quantities available to be sold by the consumer and more to reorder. As per the
(Abdolazimi and et.al., 2021) This is mainly used for eliminating the manually counting and
manually using the working of individuals.

Communication software is used by the companies as for exchanging the file and
messages between various department with suing the computers and software. As per the view
point of (Naidoo and Dulek, 2022) Various business mainly used this software as of file
transferring and messaging software as of emails and texts. As of web based email systems use
for enhancing the information and connecting all the internal department of the tesco, for easily
communicating and transferring information with using software.

According to (Srivastava and Bajaj, 2022) HRIS is a software used by various business as
it helps in holding and processing the data related to all the employees working in the company.
It mainly used for tracking and analysing various information related to employee and personnels
working as the payrolls, salaries, leave systems, attendances scheduling. Also, the data related to
employees, calenders and basic personal information of all the employees working in the

company at different level. This application is mainly helps in storing and managing all the
common functions of employee.
All these software used by the business as it mainly helps in achieving the consistency
and quality of the operations being performed by the tesco for achieving the optimum level of
outputs. Further, it helps in achieving and supporting the businesses. As it mainly helps in
supporting business in saving time, optimizing the operational efficiency and minimizing the
labour cost required for operating and manually working in the company. Thus, all these above
software use helps in enhancing the workflow in businesses and aids in achieving and solving
various complex problems .

also using the privacy concerns and other software. Various information about these issues are
very important.

accessing and disclosing of various information arises issue. With using the IT software in the

an ethical issues faced by the businesses while operating in the digital world. Further another

IT, adapting the various detecting systems for determining the appropriate user and interface.
Another issues arise because of harmful cations taken by using the various computer and IT

This mainly occurs when alteration of various fillings and various programmes impacting the
business data storage and aids in loosing various resource used for operating the business.

Furthermore, as per the view point of (Rachel, 2021) ethical issues and social issues
relating of patent rights, trade secrets and copyrights are the major issues faced by th companies
in the digital world. The patent issue in the IT, as it mainly arises when using the information and
disclosing th information without accessing the right. Furthermore, breaching and misusing the
copyright cat and law resulting into the misusing the data and documentation of material. This is
mainly considered as the legal tool which helps in ensuring documentation and computer
software for protecting the data stores in the computers systems.
Also according to the (Benefo and et.al., 2022) trade secrets helped in storing the
valuable information and useful things. But when this information is disclosed it aids in
hindering and impacting the company and significant affect the competitive influence. Anther
ethical issue as of piracy, as of making the illegal copy of the software used in the business
hinders the operations. As of protecting this software is important as for assuring the
unauthorized access for duplicating the software. The knowledges of understanding the ethical
and social issues as it helps in defining and understanding the various principles for operating
the software and systems of IT in the company. Also, by understanding these information helps
in protecting the issues arises in privacy and preventing the dishonesty for accessing various
networks associated with operating the computer software and networks.

the users of internet. Thus, it can be said that the internet has the big impact on the businesses in
the both positive and negative way. This helps the management of the company to utilize the
resources and use them in the best way. The internet used to facilitate the development and

profitability in the wide market. This makes the organization to increase its productivity, sharing
of knowledge and increase the employee engagement.
Role of IT in helping managers to manage business

used in company that helps them to analyse the specific data and helps them to plan the journey
of the business. This also helps the managers of the company to know about the trends and

total number of customers per day (Alam, 2020). The main role of IT is to create and maintain
the operational applications in order to have development, security and storing of the electronic
data that is related to the organization.
Sometimes by investing in the Information Technology used to create some
disadvantages to the company. This used to create the complexity in order to manage and record
the large amount of data. The use of internet can cause the crime and terrorism if not used
properly. The data of the company can be leaked if there is the lack of security in the business
organization. By this it makes the company to have loss or decrease in the profitability and
productivity. This also lead of have the manipulation of the data and picture of the products of
the company. By this it makes the company to have decrease in the customers and thus lead to
decrease the revenue of the company.
CONCLUSION
Form the above report it can be concluded that IT plays important role for easy
processing and storing the data needed for achieving the business success. It helps in I
implementing the changes occurring in the processing. Various types of software used by the

business which helps in processing and achieving the business success easily by easy working
with human resource's software, inventory control software, communication software,
accounting software. Various social and ethical issues are important for operating business as it
helps in identifying various business risks ans preserving, also out coming various challenge.
Further ICT helps in storing increasing and analysing various information and data for making
decision quickly. IT plays very important roles in managing business by developing, sourcing,
and storing the information needed to process the areas of company. Also, the ethical and social
issue associated with the operating the business and using software helps in operating form
various integrated services as associated with patents, copyrights and privacy.
