Is every website a form of global IS? Why and Why not?
Every website can be defined as the form of Global Information System as most of
the websites are built on the as context as a website (Kasemsap 2018). All the functionalities
of a website is very much similar to GIS. Both these two platforms are used by the users to
manage and maintain data which are used in global corporate establishments. All the
measurable data can be accessed by these two platforms.
It can be justified that every website is very much helpful in storage of data, mapping
of the data, retrieval of data, and analysis of data which is the exact same functionality of a
GIS where users publish and maintain data.
What is the purpose of an expert system? How can it serve as a competitive tool?
The main objective of an expert system is to provide advice at a comparable level to
the human expert. The expert systems can be very much beneficial to enhance the abilities of
leading experts (Maylawati, Darmalaksana and Ramdhani 2018). High level expertise are
made available to the experts using the expert system. It can be said that the decision making
ability of a human expert can be enhanced using the expert system.
It can be said that the expert system can serve as a competitive tool, regarding the
usage of expert systems. The use of the expert system can serve as a competitive tool as it can
help the experts to have a competitive edge over the other experts.
What is a geographical information system (GIS)? What purpose does it serve?
GIS can be defined as the category of system which are used in most of the corporate
establishments to design, capture analyse, store and present the geographical data. Spatial
