INTRODUCTION:Information technology is an important component in business. It plays a vital role inintegrating data and information to business. This allow business to manage data to developstrategies. Also, IT ensures that business operations are easily operated. Implementing and ITsystem increases business efficiency and productivity (Laudon, and Laudon,, 2016). IT bringsmodifications in process and procedures, providing a platform to enhance business capability.Moreover, IT connects business with all over the world by collecting market data andinformation. It analyses data to provide useful information. However, it is not easy to maintainthese systems for this they have to hire IT experts. IT has provided ease and growth in business.This report will provide an insight on how a website is developed and what managementinformation systems are required in it. Business report1) Summary of Maternal Home Care Maternal home care is created to provide social health and care facilities to old agepeople. The old age people are generally not able to get proper health facilities as they are leftalone by their children. So they usually suffer from various diseases (Westerman,., Bonnet,. andMcAfee,, 2014) Also, Maternal home care will take care of people who are disabled and are nottaken care properly. This issue is highly rising in the society and it needs to be get solved.Therefore, for fulfilling needs of old age people, Maternal home care is started the business toprovide high quality health care services to these people. It is done to improve the living standardin the society and to provide support to disabled people. Moreover, it will also help people bygiving them suggestions on how to live a healthy life in old stage. Before starting a business aresearch was done to analyse the health facilities that are provided to disabled people. Theresearch concluded that people were not able to recover from disability and they were highlydemotivated by others. This was the main reason of starting Maternal home care. It was selected becauseenterprise belongs to health sector and wants to solve the social issue. Their goal is to enhancethe living standard of old age people by providing them better health facilities. The domain nameselected for this will reflect upon the services that are provided by home care. Generally, .ORGshows the service that are related to health sector. If any other domain suchas .COM, .EDU, .UNI where used then it would not have reflected upon goal and objective ofbusiness. Also, .ORG will be perfect for this business as it will show people needs. Apart fromthis any business that belongs to health sector specifically uses ORG domain. It is because thisdomain shows that organisation only exists for single purpose. Moreover, the main aim is not toearn profit but to help society. (Chae,., Koh,. and Prybutok,, 2014).3) How business will collect and protect consumer data In a business it is most important that data collected of customers is protected. This is toensure the integrity of business and personal data of customers. There are various methods suchas hacking, cyber crime, etc. through which the personal data of consumer are leaked or stole. Itis done to misuse their data in illegal activities. So business must ensure the customer dataintegrity. For this Maternal home care will follow the guideline of data protection act of UK.This act enables business and government to use and control consumer data. Maternal home carewill collect data by doing online research on the internet. The data gathered from there will bekept stored in a database.
