INTRODUCTION As it can be seen that the healthcare industry is flourishing, this is because technology hasimproved and enhanced and has also become more widely available. It has been observed thatmany organisations are moving into healthcare fields that is driven or operated by entrepreneurswho value this emerging and growing market. In recent years, healthcare firms are becomingmore numerous and facing an unprecedented degree of competition. The UK National Health Service, is known for the public-ally funded national healthcaresystem which is also the largest single player healthcare system across the world. Although, ascompared to US, the country proves to be more attentive towards healthcare services. InAmerica, they spend twice as much as others do on healthcare but results are NO better than inthe UK. So for this, changes and improvements are necessary. Therefore, for this reason thisreport aims at having read about DRX-Revolution Nano Mobile X-ray System for improvingservices at NHS Trust. Also, this report will explore its application in the NHS trust. QUESTION 1Discuss and evaluate characteristics of DR X-Revolution Nano Mobile X-ray System as aninnovation.Four main types of innovation were defines by Oslo Manual measuring innovation thatconsider commodity, process, merchandising and organisational. In which product innovation isdefines as a product or service that is new or critically improved, also this involves importantmodifications in technical specifications, components and material, software in the good, anduser friendliness features. Process innovation refers to a new or significantly enhancedproduction process or delivery method, consisting vital alterations in techniques, equipments andsoftware. Marketing innovation is the term that describes a new merchandising method includingrelevant changes in product creation or packaging, placement, promotion and pricing. Lastly,organisational innovation is considered as a new organisational approach in business practices,place of work or external connections (Bhagavatula, Mudambi and Murmann, 2017). Innovation in healthcare system, in other words is defined as the application of newproduct, services, systems, processes, policies, models and so on that aim to better one or moredomains of health care quality or decrease healthcare disparities.
