The world is undergoing a quiet revolution that is transforming all the operations both in the
subsistence and in commercial sector. Moto vehicle designers are normally faced with the challenge of
inventing the most comfortable automobile, and designing the most pocket friendly vehicle. Information
technology is slowly but steadily changing the manner in which man carries out his tasks. Besides, it has
turned the world into a global village where people must be updated of trending technology on a regular
basis to stay abreast in terms of competition. Most importantly, commodities that are being consumed as
luxuries need more attention since individual who are trendy and fashion-driven often purchases them.
Widespread concern and pragmatic efforts have been made not just to bridge the gap between market
demands for advanced technology in automobiles but to fill the voids for expertise in the industry in terms
of intelligence to ensure tailor-made gadgets are fitted in vehicles.
Key issues in the design process
1. Impact of the design on the health of the end-users
2. Price of the product and the cost of production
3. Existence of competition in the market
4. The rules governing such innovations in the country
5. Aesthetic value of the product and implications on the environment
6. Decision whether to implement it as an intermediary or end-product.
7. Availability of spare-parts and maintenance cost
To come up with a solution to the issues affecting the development of technology in the modern
world, we must have a different framework of thoughts. Albert Einstein who remarked that, “We cannot
solve our problems with the same thinking we used while creating them”, holds the same opinion.
To come up with a vehicle that can be admirable for seasons, the following modifications are
necessary;

Innovation & Entrepreneurship 3
1. Should be light in weight: the materials to be used for designing the body of the vehicle
should be very light. Heavy vehicles normally high fuel consumption rates and move slowly even on plain
surfaces.
2. The vehicle should be small: The speed of locomotives depends largely on the size and shape
of the model. Large volumes face much resistance from the friction caused in the air while small sizes face
less friction. Buyers like small size vehicles in case they need speedy cars.
3. Using the hybrid design technology: the vehicle should be redesigned using a mixed strategy
whereby the desired qualities of the existing makes are blended together to come up with a perfect vehicle.
For instance, adopting features which make the hammer strong and those that make Volkswagen cheap.
4. The vehicle should be designed with a direct and port fuel injection for auto stop/start
functions. This comes at the core of modern-day innovation in designing the most economical vehicle that
is fashionable and economical for middle-class users as well as high-income earners.
5. The vehicle should be designed with enhanced 4-wheel dynamo: In this craft, the exchange of
impulse between the wheels is automated and requires no human intervention during times of emergency.
According to the designers of this technology, whenever the vehicle detects any disjointed or
misconception in any wheel, it balances the weight in the vehicle proportionately to the areas where
stability is guaranteed (Byrne et al., 2019). The breaks that are applied automatically have torques that
brings a fine tilth to the tire patches to ensure comfort even during emergency.
