INTRODUCTION
Innovation is being defined as process through which something new can be developed
within the market. For the business or the person, it is very essential that they bring in innovation
so that effective working can be done. The present study will outline the skills and knowledge
which is essential to be an innovator. Along with this the personal performance and opportunities
will be to develop innovative practice will be highlighted.

In this highly competitive working environment, it is very essential for the person and
businesses to be innovative and creative. The reason underlying this fact is that when the
business or the person will be good at innovation and creativity then this will improve the
working in competitive environment (Prabowo, 2018). Hence, for the business and innovator it is
very essential that they effectively conduct innovation and this will improve business
performance. For this there are certain knowledge and skill necessary for the innovator to inherit.
Along with this, there are many different factors as well which motivates the people to work in
innovative manner. The most important factor is the personal growth. This is pertaining to the
fact that when the person has the aim of improving the performance of the themselves then they
will work in innovative manner. Also, this will assist the person to grow and develop themselves
so that they are able to work in proper and effective manner.
Along with this, it is necessary that the person is having proper knowledge that is both
practical and theoretical. This is essential because of the reason that when the proper knowledge
is being possessed by the employees or the person then working of company will be good. Also,
when the people will be having proper knowledge then this will provide them a competitive
advantage as they will be distinct from others. Hence, having the basic knowledge is very
essential for the person to be innovative and improving themselves.
Moreover, in addition to have the proper knowledge there is also requirement of having
good skills which will assist the person in developing. For this the most essential skill necessary
to be possessed by the innovator is the creative thinking skill. The reason pertaining to the fact is
that when the person is not having creative and good thinking then they will not be in position to
outline new and innovative ideas (Švač and Cagáňová, , 2020). Hence, for becoming a good

innovator the most essential aspect is the good innovative and creative thinking. This is
particularly because of the reason that when the creative thinking is there then new and
innovative ideas will be developed then this will improve the efficiency of the company.
Further, another skill necessary for becoming a good innovator is effective observing
skills. The reason underlying this fact is that innovation can be brought with help of problems
which people are generally facing (Sirotiak and Sharma, 2019). Hence, the general problems can
be identified with help of effective observing skills only. This is particularly because of the
reason that when the person will be having effective observation skill then this will improve the
development of new ideas. Hence, this is also a very good skill to be possessed by the innovator.
Along with this, another skill to be necessarily possessed by the innovator is the
networking. The networking involves the fact that how much people are having good network or
business connection. This is necessary because when the person will be having good network
and connections then it will be easier for person to work in better and effective manner. Also, the
network will also assist innovator to improve the working in proper and effective manner and to
complete any task on time and will improve the performance of company.
Moreover, along with all these skills it is also very essential for the innovator to have
skill of risk taking. The reason pertaining to the fact is that when the innovator will be risk taker
then they will be in position to work in much better manner. Hence, in case the innovator will be
in capacity to take more risk than the innovation will also be big. Thus, this will improve the
working condition in better and effective manner and people will bring in new idea and will
assist in developing business.
Opportunities for developing and improving innovative practice
For the innovator it is essential that they effectively and continuously develop
themselves. The reason underlying this fact is that the business exists in external environment
and as a result of this there are many changes taking place. Thus, it is essential that the innovator
continuously develop themselves and learn new things. Hence, for this, the major opportunity for
the innovator is to work on developing the time management skill. The reason pertaining to the
fact is that when the work will not be accomplished on time then this will result in ineffective
working (Kummanee, Nilsook and Wannapiroon, 2020). Thus, for this, it is essential for the
innovator to work on their time management skill so that every task can be accomplished in
proper and effective working. Along with this, another opportunity for improving the innovative

practice is to improve the written presentation skill. The reason pertaining to the fact is that when
the innovator will be having effective presentation skill then they will be in good position to
pitch their ideas and attract other people.
CONCLUSION
The above report evaluated the fact that for working in external environment innovation
that is development of new product is very important. The above analysis highlighted that it is
necessary to have skills for effective working. These skills involve observing, creative thinking
and many others. Also, it was evaluated that the opportunity to develop time management,
written presentation skill is also necessary for the innovator to grab it. The reason underlying was
that it will assist the innovator to work in proper and effective manner.
