RATIONALE
Inquiry-based learning is a detailed learning process which mainly engages students by
making real-world connections through expedition and high level of questioning and answering
in children. This is an approach to learning which chiefly encourages students to engage
themselves in solving their issuances and problems with developing skill in experiential learning.
For instance, a mathematics teacher might demonstrate how to solve problems in a traditional
lecture and lesson but while inquiry-based lesson, the teacher can efficiently watch their each
student how they solve their own problems. In addition, the teacher can see the steps their
students take to accomplish a solution in their own unique manner (Colton & Shattock,2019).
Inquiry-based learning is basically active form of learning that encompasses by posing problems,
questions and other scenarios based questioning to foster the learning skills within the students.
This efficiently contrasts with the traditional learning/education. Inquiry-based learning is
generally assisted by a facilitator rather than a lecturer giving lessons efficiently to foster the
cognitive understanding and skills to grow and develop their learning skills. Inquirers will
determine and investigate the issuances associated with the children's learning and questions
them to develop the knowledge or solutions (Costes-Onishi and et. al., 2020). Inquiry-based
learning mainly consists of problem-based learning and this is generally utilised in small scale
investigations ad associated projects. The inquiry-based learning is principally very close
associated to the development and practices of the thinking and problem solving skills. An
inquiry-based learning approaches lets a student to share their own ideas, thoughts and questions
about the topic. This aids in fostering more of curiosity among children about the material ans
teaches them skills to utilise them ans continue to more of exploration in topics they are
interested in (Divrik and et. al., 2020).
An inquiry-based learning basically focusses on teaching that leads to moving of students
beyond general curiosity into the sphere of critical thinking and cognitive understanding. This
leaning approach actually awakens children's natural curiosity to learn more about the
happenings around them. This learning in children bring forth engagement and promotes in
scientific discussion and improves the learnings of scientific concepts among small kids and
children. This encourages their curiosity and capabilities of students to generate more of
