founded by Charles Pfizer and Charles F. Er hart in 1849. It is a world largest pharmaceutical
company so it produces medicines and vaccines for wide range. It includes all type of medicine
like immunology, oncology, cardiology, endocrinology and neurology and provide quality and
effective medicines to patient because its purpose is improved health of people. In this
organization 96500 employees engaged. So it also focus on earn profit on global level and it also
acquire and adopt new technology and latest innovation that helps in boost operations and
improve productivity.
1. Challenges, problems and issues face by Pfizer :-
Pfizer has to face many challenges and it faces that many environmental factors present
in surrounding of organization so it affects majorly because it is a drug company so it has to
follow many types of rules and regulation and if rule and regulation change frequently so it
creates many types of problem. It also has to face competitors present in markets with same
product and same size so it also affects to their profitability. Competitors like Am gen,

AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and movartis so it reduces profit in share market and it has to
face it. All these things direct affect to goodwill and productivity of organization.
It also faces problems that that employees has inadequate training so on time of
inspection many types of issue creates and lack of knowledge is major problem in this
organization. It also has to face supply shortage so its affects to their goodwill of Pfizer. So its
also reduce economic growth and not to produce new drugs because in present market if new
product launch so it not runs and fail. It has to export maximum medicine and vaccines out of
country and not use in their own country because government make many laws and legislation
for provide protection to all peoples so it also reduces need of medication and it reduces demand
of medicines.
It ha weakness that it not focus on improvement of present activities and need of
customers so customers not satisfy and their needs also not fulfil. And its effect profit of Pfizer.
It also has weakness that it also not focus on effective and attract customers so it also affects to
