In modern world most of the business and people use digital technologies such as social
media, email and official website to market its products or form network with people in order to
earn maximum profit margin. Various challenges are faced by individual and businessman when
they go online in order to exchange information or have fun and enjoyments. The report has
compare and contrast between positive and negative aspects of individual and businesses being
online and offline. It has also described about various different challenges and measure of
security and privacy that can be taken when individual and businesses go online. At last it has
described difference between blog and websites and various tools that can be used to create blog.
It also provides a justification about whether a blog can be effective communication tool for
individual and business.

Individual can connect through various people in the environment through online sites
which are prevailing in the market. Online has make communication easy from one place to
another to achieve the goal. Network of people helps in generating of revenue for an individual
in the process. Individual develops the skills and ability by having online training in the market.
Online platform provides opportunities without moving from the place as its needs to complete
by using the technology (Silva and Goncalves, 2016). Individual gets awareness of whole world

can only handle by the qualified people in the market. As online needs basics knowledge about
the English language and technology which are prevailing in the market. Individual can’t build
personal relationship on online platform as messages are being exchange in the process. When
being compared with offline, online involves high risk of transaction as it’s totally depends upon
the fair dealers on the online platform. Addiction to online networks can disrupt an individual’s
life, both personally and professionally.

time it is difficult for an individual to make understands about the things which are prevailing in
the market, as mind, nature, personality may varies from an individual to another individual in

trust of brand between the people in the market to achieve the goal (Voorveld and et.al., 2016).
Offline businesses need to manage men power in the system to complete the task within the time
limit. Businesses also need to cover daily expenses which happen in daily routine life. This
expense is the expensive deal for the company in terms of amount when being compared with
online platform. In offline businesses choosing location is difficult task to achieve the goal in the
market. Offline businesses need to go through many legal documents which are required by the
government to operate the activities in the market. Accounting of the stocks should be done
accurately in the businesses to obtain the positive results in the offline process.
Challenges and measure of security and privacy for individual and business when going
online
There are various threats and challenges that are facing individual and business while
operating online such as webcam hacking, phishing emails, browser extension and ad- tracking,
device tracking and data breaches (Frasquet and Miquel, 2017). Individual and business man
need to have knowledge about various challenges and threats while working online in order to
effectively use internet for various purpose. Thus, various challenges are as follows:
Webcam hacking: This types of threats is least privacy concerned as it happen very rarely such
as flaw in Zoom that means a video conferencing software that without permission or awareness
of individual allowed malicious websites to activate camera. Most of the people does not believe
about webcam hacking as they think who it could be possible that without their knowledge
someone else is watching them. But due to improvement in technologies now computer can used

individual information while using online. Most of the people click various links that they get
from unknown person which lead to stolen of crucial or personal information of individual

attract maximum number of customers through knowing about individual personal taste and
preferences. Therefore they use various software and online services such as Facebook and
Google to tract about want person do and its preferences so that they can make various ad in
order to influence individual to make purchase (Singh and Chatterjee, 2017). Thus, it can be
stated that it is one of recent and most risky method that collect personal information of
individual through use of various sites.
Data breaches: It have been noticed that there is more and more data breaches in recent times
such as personal banking, medical records and credit cards. It is unable to control all such data
breaches as they are out of control of individual therefore businessman and person needs to have
limited uses for protecting itself from various threats.
Data tracking: Most of information of individual are lost through use of online services such as
Facebook, Twitter as advertiser continuously track information in order to effectively promote
their services and products. Therefore, it can be stated that mobile phones is major sources of
leaking number of crucial information of individual and business that cause various harms.

protect data and personal information such as setting of strong password, post limited
information on social sites and don’t fall scam (Sengupta, 2018). All such method will helps
individual and businessman to easily use and operate social sites or online without much tension
of different challenges. Thus, various measures for security and privacy of data and information
are:
Password protecting: Individual and business should put strong password to its computer and
mobile phones in order to protect all digital devices from threats of losing information. As
mobile phone that does not have strong password and stolen then such personal information
through social sites or other method can be used by individual for unethical purpose. Therefore it
is necessary for individual and manager of company to have unique and strong password for
laptop and mobile phones so that no one can use for their purpose.
Keep computer from virus free: It is another method that can be used to protect data and
information such as a virus infected computer can easily hacked by person and may dig various
crucial information’s, ask for ransom in order to get back information. Therefore individual and

businessman need to update their software from time to time and run antivirus program in order
to indentify virus so that they can be removed for safety and security of information.
Limited information need to be post on social media: Individual and businessman need to put
limited or few information on social sites such as Facebook and Twitter so that unknown people
or close friend cannot make misuse of such information for their fun and enjoyment (Priisalu and
Ottis, 2017). People need to avoid posting unnecessary post or photo so that other people cannot
use for undesirable purpose.
Use software that are authentic or have trusted source: It is responsibilities of individual and
manager of organisation to install various software that are get form trusted sources so that no
harm can be caused to personal and crucial information of individual such as bank details,
background of individual.
Use secure WIFI connection: Person while working online needs to use secure WIFI
connection in order to avoid different challenges or threats to individual information. While
connecting to public WIFI individual need not have to convey or exchange private information
or data for extra security and privacy measures.

It can be stated that blog is a type of websites where individual post different content in
reverse chronological orders thus it is usually in form of blog post or entries. It included various
corporate blog that have lot of information related to leadership or any other material and facts

that is static in nature where content is arranged in organised manner in various pages. Content

blog is dynamic and ever changing due to numerous updation by some of bloggers. Most of
business organisation in order to build strong relationship with customers uses blog to inform
them about recent prices, offers and various products available. It can be also be concluded that
blog being part of website or whole websites whereas websites cannot be blog. Another
difference between blog and website is that various pages are used to organise and display
content on websites on the other hand in blog articles are organised through use of tags and
