INTRODUCTION
Interagency working can be describe as the working more than one agency in more
formal and planned manner. In this type of working proper plan and procedure is developed
to work together as well as accomplished desired job role. This required more collaboration
working in order to attain desired job role as well as working effectively and efficiently. This
report includes the case study of Mary (Milner, Myers and O'Byrne, 2020). She is a elder
woman who go on shopping weekly through council bus. The driver of the bus found out that
Mary tied her husband to chair when she goes to shopping. Mary said she do so because of
her husband Ted might walk away or hurt himself or cause fire in the property. Volunteer
driver has reported information to her manager who consulted a friend that works in aged
care assessment team. The council and local health service team reassured that they will help
her. This report will includes different multiple factors that are differing cultural needs in the
communities in the UK along with information sharing as well as impact on delivery of
health and social care is determined. It includes different attributes of effective multi
disciplinary team has been determined as well as skills of leaders to support team is
determined. Apart from this own learning about different cultural needs along with the multi
cultural community understanding

Determine the multiple factors with references to the different cultural needs in
communities in the UK.
There are various factors in the case study which has point out the difference in the
culture and the need to make changes so the people in UK will be more safe and satisfy with
their culture and trend. From the case study it has been identified that people are having quite
wrong perception about the nursing home that is insight of considering it save place to spend
rest of their considering it worst place to live. Secondly other factor which has been
highlighted in the case study is that condition of old or elder people is not good which is
because of culture they are having and following. The communities in UK must focus on
providing proper knowledge and positive impact of the nursing house among old people as
they are scared of this place. With the help of various channels such as television, poster,
newspaper and social media they should provide the effective information to people

regarding qualities and use of nursing home. Furthermore they should focus on improving the
conditions of these nursing homes in order to improve their functioning and operations. All
these activities are taking place due to different culture needs of the people in UK. In UK the
large population belong to different culture live where understanding doesn’t match.
Moreover the focus should be on the education of people specially young individuals so that
they also take steps to do something good for senior citizen of the UK. There is a need to
develop the helping culture where people should focus on their near bypeople and individuals
belonging to their family to take care of them. There are many nursing homes been opened in
UK because there is no value for old people as people are more concern about their own life
and are quite selfish. Hence there is need to make changes in the culture in order to make
people more aware about the personal relation so that old people didn’t find outsiders for
help. Furthermore there is need to make people aware about the various helping services and
homes for old people who are facing difficult hence need to focus on improving and
developing multicultural within UK.

organisation. Through this, individual is able to share or transmit idea and message with other

There are different ways and approaches to share information with other people. Information
sharing have different pros and cons that will lead to have major affect on individual.
Different cultural will perceive information sharing in different manner (Coates, 2017). There
are different cultural issues that are associated with the information sharing. Cultural issues

patient. So it is essential for community centre to conduct their work according to

While conducting communication in different culture I experienced several ups and
downs that help me in enhancing my skills but somewhere it impact on my performance.
While conducting work within the different culture need of communities I understand that
different community people have different perspective and we must respect all of them. It is
so because when we respect other person culture then them feel connected which help in
improving the communication as well as it also help in minimising situation related to
conflict. During the whole process I also understand that when we not respect as well as
understand the other culture, it will leads to some major issues or problems which leads to
huge loss. So I understand that we must try to understand different culture needs of the
communities as that help in improving situation and leads to effective relation. In the case of
Ted and Mary, Gill decide them to proceed with referral without their concern during this
situation Ted as well as Mary get against with them (Waring, Moran and Page, 2020). This
leads to communication gap as well it also impact on the care services because Ted as well
Mary are not feel comfortable there. In addition to this, I also understand that when the
culture of a person get impact then their emotional level also get impacted due to which Mary
and Ted required serious health and care services. Along with this, in the situation of Ted and
Mary when people of community centre say Mary to left Ted in their centre while going for
shopping. Then Mary react differently due to its culture. So in this situation I understand that
we must first to understand person perspective as well as culture and then accordingly advise

community centre also hire some physiologist who can highly influence person for their
better treatment without much concerning about the community culture. So having this
practice, in the case of Ted as well as Mary, community centre can convince them effective to

According to me these are some of the main aspects which need to be considered by a person
while working with the different community people or in the multi culture team. It is so
because this will help in improving their work quality as well as help in effective effectively
