Interface standards are the basic design elements that exist
in different system user interface

INTERFACE STANDARDS (continued)
• RS-232 is the first interface introduced in
the 1962 and made the great impression in
the history of the interface.
• Most common example of this is EIA-232F,
which consists of ITU V.28 standard, ISO
2110 standard and ITU V.24. EIA-232F offers
wireless connection, which is called full
duplex.
• InfiniBand used the both fiber optics and
copper wire cable to deliver the high speed
data transmission up to 10 gigabits per
second.
