INTERFACE THAT TRACKS ENERGY USAGE AT THE HOME AND PROVIDES ALERTS, SUGGESTIONS INTRODUCTION The aim of the report is to describe the application that is designed for the purpose of managing the power usage within the home appliance products. With the help of efficientapplicationitwillbecomeeasytosave resources. The objective is to design an application that willbecapableofprovidinginformationaboutthe resources that are used within the home appliances. The use of energy usage application will help in managing the electricityandwillalsoensurethateverydataare managed within the application. The focus is to reduce theoverallenergyconsumptionthroughtheuseof effective application. SCENARIO DESCRIPTION The application is designed for the purpose of providing better access towards the data sets and the way data are managedwithinthepowerconsumptionapplications. Thissectionofthereportfocusesmainlyon understanding the three different phases of using the application. The application is designed in such a way thatitbecomeseasytomonitortheoverallpower consumption.Threeinterfaceisassociatedwiththe application power analysing app will be evaluated in these parts. The first interface is related with opening the application homepage for the purpose of viewing the overallconsumptionofpowerthroughthehome appliances. The application contains all the devices the datasothatitbecomeseasytoanalysetheoverall consumption rate. Secondly when the user selects any particular appliances than the data related to the appliance will be displayed. This will show that for what time the appliance was used and the exact amount of energy that has been consumed by the application. Thirdly, the user has the ability to check the graph of the energy consumed on a weekly basis. Thus it becomes easy to understand theneedofproperenergymanagementfordifferent appliances. DESIGNCONCEPTUALIZATION This part of the paper focuses on evaluating the design of the web frame that is needed for identifying the energy that is consumed by the home appliances. The wireframe isdesignedwiththeuseofbalsamicsoftware.The wireframe shows the features that are offered towards the users once they have logged in to the application. All the devices are connected with the app so that it becomes easy to monitor the usage of the energy. The application is designed with proper navigation buttons so that they can move from the application and can share their data consumption through different applications effectively. In addition to this, it can be observed that the users can selecthomebuttononcetheyaredonewiththe application. The wireframe designed is for monitoring the selected application performance and energy usage. It is important to evaluate the energy consumed with the appliances needs to be monitored efficiently so that it becomes easy to understand the reason behind failure. The interface is designed for the purpose of understanding the weekly basis usage and the recommended usage capacity for the refrigerator.
