Business environment may be referred as
sum total of all external and internal
factors such as employee’s needs,
expectations and employees. It is
imperative for business to assess factors
that may affect business operations.

INTERNAL FACTORS
They are referred as those
factors which are under control
of organisation no matter
whether they are intangible or
tangible.

SWOT ANALYSIS
Strengths
• Effective brand portfolio and
unrivalled product.
• Have ownership of more well-known
brands of world.
Weaknesses
• Criticism on various aspects such as
contaminated food, high water usage,
unethical practices and on forced
child labour.
• Recall of contaminated food.
Opportunities
• Ability to expand its business horizon
in other countries.
• Can introduce new product to gain
competitive advantage.
Threats
• Increased competition in food and
beverage industry.
• Price of ingredients could rise due to
weather disasters.

EXTERNAL FACTORS
• They are referred as those factors
which are outside a business and there
is no control over there of company.
For a company, it is needed to assess
external factors or it may negatively
impact on company’s performance.
