While many extrovert people can express their emotionsand are considered as social animals, introvert people can keep confidential their emotions andfeelings. Thus emotion is considered as a sole driver of motivation, either negative or positive.Many researchers have put across the theories which are related to the feeling, behavior, changesin psychology, and syndromes of components, etc. which are all related to the emotions. Manyother theories are claiming that one should keep a line of difference in between precedecognition and emotion. In some theories, Cognition is given much priority over emotionalbalances while in others Emotional motivation is given much importance over cognitivebehavior. He has done hisPh.D. from the university of Cornell in the year 1968, and for more than one year he was atUCR. He is a renowned theorist of Sociology, and also he is excellent in some abilities likeemotional sociology, relations of ethnicity, social stratification and institutions and biologicalsociology. For this book Handbook of the Sociology of Emotions, Turner was given theoutstanding award of Recent Contributions 2008 by Association of American Sociology with theco-writers Jan E. Stets. He is the author of thirty seven books and two hundred articles (Stets, J.,et al., 2007).This book serves the Adult, and professional class who faces the emotionaldilemma daily in their office and work place as mostly the examples used in this handbook isfrom office culture only.
