INTRODUCTIONWith the increase in globalization, many business organizations are looking forward forexpanding their business activities in the international market so that they may have greaterpossibilities to achieve their goals and objectives (Brayant, B., 2008). Therefore, all the majorindustries are also focusing on expanding their business activities in the international market sothat they may acquire better business opportunities. Main purpose for conducting the presentreport is to deliver cross-cultural training for the first international assignment so that they caneasily perform their activities. However, main aim of company such as Clever Clogsinternational is to change the way of banking system so that they can easily avoid the economiccrash. Organization is currently looking for expanding their business activities that is financialservices in the Amsterdam, the Netherlands for 2 years. Presently, the report focuses on understanding external factors as well as macro-levelfacts of the Netherlands so that manager can easily carry out their business activities in othercountries and region. However, it will also carry out the comparison of both the region that areNetherlands and Lebanon based on the Hofstede's work. Furthermore, the report will also focuson analysing the business and management challenges that international manager of CleverClogs may face while rendering services in the international marketplace. 1. Aim of the report and current state of globalization in the finance industryIn order to get success in the international market, it is necessary for Clever ClogInternational to focus on different factors that are associated with the globalization. Clever ClogsInternational is one of the financial companies which is planning to expand its business activitiesfrom Lebanon to Amsterdam situated in Netherlands (Bosma, 2007). For this internationalassignment, they has chosen to transfer female manager as she is capable enough and hasperformed exceptionally well in the past with earning two promotion in the periods. For the firstinternational assignment, no formal training had been carried out so now, one of the companieshas been hired to deliver cross-cultural training as well as knowledge regarding the global factorsand challenges that manager would face throughout their international assignment.
