INTRODUCTION
International political economy is nothing but a political situation at the international
level. This report is based on the case study of the comprehensive and Progressive Agreement
for Trans Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). The implication of this agreement over the United
States will be a part of basic area of discussion under this project. Offering that United States
government make against the agreement will be a part of the discussion under this report.
Appropriateness of the structure of the agreement will also emphasis as a part of this study.

CPTPP agreement and related aspects
Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) is
considered as one of the free trade agreement. Trans Pacific Partnership was negotiated since
the year 2015 and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans Pacific
Partnership is only an advanced level implication of that. United States has led the agreement
to reduce the traffic and set new standards for participating the different countries. United
States offer under this agreement to make easy policies that can fast forward chase the
competition of agreements. The government has tried to overcome different hurdles imposed
while doing an international trade. Government in United States has tried to approach the
countries from all around the world to join this agreement. This reform is focusing towards
increase of the trade at the international boundaries so that better economic growth could
have been entertained at the international level (Lee and Bhattacharya, 2021). The
government of the United States also stated the fact that the CPTPP member economies
would contribute through this 13.5% of the global economy (Van Tuan, 2017). This entire
partnership between the multiple nations would benefit to each one of the member country at
a direct level. This emergence of this agreement is due to the crisis occurred in the year 2008
which could result into an economic loss at the international level. The main reason behind
the crisis situation was due to the non liberal policy making of the countries that was
highlighted by the government of the United States with the implication of the
Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans Pacific Partnership countries will more
switch towards the liberalisation in the international trade.
Government also advised to advance the domestic reforms in agriculture and the
service sector and to increase the bargaining leverages in other trade negotiations like

process, less paper work and such related requirements that every country needed to fulfil in
order to become a part of this agreement.

Pacific Partnership is providing to its member countries such as cheaper product range, more
profit margins, more customer satisfaction, fast supply of goods in international boundary and
many such key factors that will benefit to the member state of the Comprehensive and
Progressive Agreement for Trans Pacific Partnership. The structure of the Comprehensive
and Progressive Agreement for Trans Pacific Partnership is also appropriate (Tran, 2018).
There are plenty of advantages the member state associated with the CPTPP will entertain
that can state that a favourable implication of the agreement. The structure of the CPTPP may
lead to some changes as currently it is not very clearly in respect to its member state. The
