Executive Summery
CEO of a company is responsible member of board of directors. SweDigi is facing down in
its production due to lack of effective management of production and marketing team. This
assignment will evaluate various leadership styles to make effective leading strategies and
issues faced by the CEO with appropriate solution of those problems. This report will discuss
different steps to solve the issues in management and building teamwork to attain the desired
profit. Launch of a new product is not an easy task for an organisation; this report will
enclose various steps for successful implementation of new product with help of case study of
SweDigi Company. This report will discuss about the changes that can help Jan in building
up his team again and to motivate them to achieve success. Strategic management include
some important factor like change management, pricing policies, proper management of
cultural diversity helps a company to organise a team.

Introduction
SweDigi is a Sweden manufacturing company operating as a sub-contractor to a digital music
company is facing decrease in the sales and also a continuous decrease in yearly turn over.
Jan a new CEO of company is facing many challenges in marketing as well as in company
management. Jan has a mission to turn the company around within 12 months and he also
have to introduce new product to increase the sales and turnover. Jan is facing internal
conflicts in the management like managers are giving different opinion for product strategies
so Jan is in need to manage all the situations within a short period of time. This report
includes various problems faced in an organisation, solution to those management problems
and leadership theories to lead a team effectively towards goals achievement.
People management issues
Jan, the new CEO of the company has planned to introduce a new product in the market; it is
a product of high tech simulation game. He is facing some problems which are likely to slow
down the productivity. During the first quarter of production Jan faces many challenges like
management team is not cooperating in planning of the production plant, sales team is not
making efforts in increasing the sales as forecasted, quality assurance process has taken too
long, team is unable to access the prospective clients in the market and management teams
have different opinions on production process and in implementation of new product. Such
problems are relevant to the management issues such as lack of effective communication,
improper attitude of leaders towards teams, inappropriate performance measures, lack of
motivation and lack of believe in the application of new change. Some other causes of
problems are market unawareness, inability to face challenge and risks and unbalanced
resources.
