Identification of the Destination
Based on the study of the academic resources, the destination identified for the particular report is
determined as Perth. Perth is recognised as a city that is situated in the region of Australia (Dickinson and
Hobbs 2018). The same is also considered to be the capital city of Western Australia and even the most
significant city across the region of Australia (Stratton and Beilharz 2016). The destination is known to be
named after the city of Perth, Scotland and is also considered to be the fourth-most populous city that is
established in the region of Australia. The same is known to consist of a population of almost 2.06 million that
lives in the area of the Greater Perth. This destination is known to be founded by Sir Captain James Stirling long
back in the year of 1829 (Errington 2016).
Total number of Visitors
The destination of Perth is considered to have an approximate of 2.8 million number of domestic
visitors at the end of almost every fiscal year, and an estimated of around 0.7 million international number of
visitors recorded at the end of every financial year (Koo, Lau and Dwyer 2017).
