There are more than the 30 beached in India and it is the tourist place because of its beauty. The beaches of the Goa are very clean and pretty and it is famous for the parties and casinos. There are many best sightseeing places in the Goa and many of the tourists came there so that they can amidst the beautiful places. In this report, the tourism system of the Goa has explained and the issues and the implication will also be stated(Kunte, et al., 2014). Using the statistical report the tourist visitation to the destination are explained Around 5 Lakh tourist visits to Goa every year and this rate of foreign tourist is increasing every year. As per the statistics data, it was recorded that the tourist arrivals in the Goa are overall 30.54 percent increase from the last years. Goa is the famous places for the beaches and casinos and many tourist people come there so that they can see the beauty and culture of those places (Ekiz and Khoo-Lattimore, 2014). It is also observed that the number of cruise ships has also increased that docked in Goa to go up many passengers and vessels. There are many tourists who came to this destination so that they can do the party and enjoy at the bar and casinos. Not only for roaming the beaches of Goa and for doing the party at casinos but also meetings, exhibition and weddings are held over there as it one of the most popular places in India.

In the month of the April, there is the summer season in India so the temperature is very high and humidity too so at that timeless visitors come to visit the Goa(Kunte, et al., 2014).But in the month of the December and January, the ratio of the visitors increased at the high rate as it was recorded that more than the 60% of the visitors come in that month from across all the countries.
International tourism systems3 Source: Tourist Arrival Statistics, 2018 Things that make the destination attractive There are many leisure things in the Goa that make the destination more attractive. There are lots of the beaches and churches in Goa so people over there visit that and feel good. They embrace the beauty of nature and enjoy the views. The tourist people also get attracted as there are many casinos over there in which parties are held and they earn lots of money also. The Goa is also attractive for the Carnival purpose as it was celebrated in the month of February. People over there wear fancy dresses and ethical dresses and do the party by drinking alcohol. Most of the visitors in the; Goa is the Catholic community as there are many churches in the Goa so Christmas is celebrated with much energy(Monteiro, 2017). So in the month of the December people visit this tourist place because the streets are decorated, the carol singing was happening and Christmas party is holding at every place. Goa is also attracted by the tourist as their alcohol is very cheaply. The Goa is also very famous for the Cashew nuts, feni and Goa sausage. Another attracted place of the Goa is the Dudhsagar Waterfalls which is the gem place of the Goa and it is the tallest waterfall in India. According to Iso-Ahola’s motivational theory, tourism places always motivate the person as it asserts the personal escape, personal seeking and recreates the person. Tourism places motivate the inner state of the person and pull the tourists in a certain decision and motivation level(Ekiz and Khoo-Lattimore, 2014). Impact of the host community at the destination The positive impact from the tourism system on the host community at the destination There are lots of the positive impact has been seen in the host community such as huge money was invested by the people of the tourism which boost up their economy. The government also invests lots of money in the local heritage so that the infrastructure can be improved, better facilities can be provided to people, and good education system can be given and also may leisure facilities are given to the local people (Kumar, et al., 2015).They host community gets to know about the different cultures and traditions when different tourist visit to that destination. International tourism systems4 people over there are able to earn the huge money. As tourist are increasing so the demand for the services is also increasing so the people, over there do not have to mitigate to the other cities to earn the living. The small and the medium enterprises have increased the local livelihood over there. In the tourist place Goa there is much catholic community which truly believes in Christmas so many foreigners come to visit the Churches and celebrating the Christmas so their currencies are coming in the country India which was increasing the foreign trade and currency also. As per the statistical data also it is evaluated that the employment of the people has increased over there in the last recent years which has resulted in increasing the revenue of the people. When revenue increases due to travel and tourism activity the economic rate of the Goa also increases (Monteiro, 2017).As tourism also helps in contributing to the local economies so the stimulation of the infrastructure investment is also increasing. The foreign exchange earnings are coming in the country which is the positive impact of the tourist system. The negative impact from the tourism system on the host community at the destination In Goa, at the time of December Christmas is celebrated so many tourists come here to visit the churches and enjoying the parties. At that time the rates of everything in Goa is very high. So at the time of the inflation to purchase anything from the shop is not easy as everything is very high cost. So the local people or the host community over there has to suffer from this. They have to go through with the inflation at the time of the Christmas and New Year. But in the month of December, only the local people of Goa can earn high as it is the time of the peal. So in the offseason to earn money for those people is quite difficult. So the local people of the Goa get employment in the seasonal area only (Kumar, et al., 2015).When there is the offseason it is difficult for the people to earn the money as very less tourist visit over there. The major negative impact on tourism is that the environment was getting affected as there are many beaches in the Goa so there was the high footpath erosion was there. The local water supplies of tourism are also getting affected. The cultural importance of the Goa is diminished as many other religions are coming there. As many young people are taking drugs and alcohol so they are spoiling the environment as the spoiling the place (Baruah, 2016).The local people cannot give the necessary respect to their culture as they were more indulged with the tourist
International tourism systems5 people. Not even the culture but the social values are also get affected when the tourism invasion are altered. Many people destroy the places of the tourism places as they do not value the destination things so it also has a negative impact on the host community. Key issues related to the destination of the Goa in India There are several issues which have been seen in the Goa as the number of tourists is increasing so the issues in the destination places also increase. Environment problem:The major issue in the Goa is the environmental problem from the infrastructure boom. In Goa, the major issue of the environment is the mining which causes serious environmental consequences. As in Goa, there are many beaches so the major emphasis is done on the road and coastal infrastructure which has been done through the programmers of the Sagarmala and Bharatmala. As the number of the tourist is increasing so the construction boom is also increasing and the pressure has been put on the private forests and the ecologically sensitive zones. The environment of the Goa is similar to the environment to Kerala also there is the threat of the facing the flood which is also the major issue. Much forest has a loss in the Goa due to the mining(VishnuRadhan, et al., 2015).The soil erosion is also increasing which was also affecting the environment of the Goa in a vast manner. Corruption:Another major issue in the Goa is corruption as there are many tourists so they give the money to the local people and arrange the things in an unethical way. The local population of the Goa is get affected due to corruption and it also affects the Indian economy. Due to the excessive regulations and due to the complicating tax and licensing system the corruption was increasing(Patel, 2012).Due to the increasing corruption in the Goa, not only the political environment but also the economic environment get affected. As Goa is famous for the casinos which were held in seaworthy but due to the corruption the inland waters are allowed and the offshore water has also been seen. The major corruption has been seen in the mining scam which affects legal mining such as the Naxalism. Tourism slump:The main issue is that the tourism stakeholders in Goa are generating low revenue due to poor management. The high number of tourist can be seen at the time of Christmas or the New Year. The major gathering of the tourist from the domestic and the foreign area is gathered ta the month of December. So at that time, the prices are high and high revenue
International tourism systems6 can be earned by the tourism stakeholders. But at the time of the offseason which is in the month of the summer or rainy season the tourist do not visit much there and it causes the biggest issue for the local people of there. As at the time, their earning reduces and their source of income get declines. So the people of Goa indulge in some unethical work to earn the source of income. The issue in maintaining sustainable tourism development:Sustainable tourism development is very important in the country which can be maintained when all the resources are allocated properly. There are many people who majorly focus on the economic and social things but they do not focus on the high agenda of the tourist. Due to the lack of unsustainable tourism in Goa, the rationale growth is underlying(Patel, 2012).The demand of the people in the Goa is increasing as the number of tourists is increasing but to meet the demand of the tourist is the biggest issue. The sustainable tourism code of conduct basically focuses on the change due to climate mitigation, supply value chain, etc. so the overall focus in nature cannot be put on. Anothermajorissueistheemergingglobaltourismgeographyastheenvironmentis unsustainable which was increasing the greenhouse gas emissions. Safety and security:As the number of tourist increases so the chances of unethical work such as theft, coercion, etc. are increasing. So another major issue in the Goa was the safety and security purpose of the Tourist (Jaswal, 2014). Policy implications from tourism The Goa Tourist Places (Protection and Maintenance) Act, 2001:To protect the tourism potential this act establishes as in the state of the Goa this acts helps in protecting and maintain the places of the tourist from the deterioration and the erosion. As per this act the government of Goa makes the maintenance and protection in many rates such as the river, beach, watercourse, spring, etc. in this act many places are notified such as the gardens, parks, museums, churches, galleries, etc.(VishnuRadhan, et al., 2015).Any nuisance caused in such places is protected by this act and the nuisance disposed of when the act was dealt with by the government. The rules for this purpose have been made by the Government of the Goa and in case if any default or nuisance occurs then penalties and punishments are imposed. Policy for Regulation of Watersports in Goa:In Goa, there are many water sports activities and the number of operators is increasing which do the illegal and the unfair use of the trade. Not

International tourism systems7 only water sea and offshore areas are using illegally but also they are causing the nuisance to the water sports. So to curb this nuisance the government of the Goa has approved the act of protecting and maintains the tourist places (Jaswal, 2014).So after this act, the rules are made in the reference of the boat rides and the parasailing and water activities so that water sports can be operated in a legal manner. So there are many watersports in Goa where the prices are charged higher from the tourist, the people are engaged in the touts, etc. so these are the major issues. So the Goa Registration of Tourist Trades Act, 1982 was amended in the year 2011 and proper legislation and rules are formed so that the control and right over the water sports can be taken.
International tourism systems8 Conclusion From the above report, it is concluded that foreign and the domestic tourist is increasing in the destination place Goa. Due to the increasing number of tourist in the Goa, lots of issues also have to face by the local people which have explained in this report. The environment was degrading and the corruption was increasing. In the last past decades, the traveler has increased as there are a lot of the attraction places in Goa such as the beaches, casinos, cheap alcohol, etc. The report has also explained the number of tourist of the Goa through the statistical data.
