International vocabulary in Modern English

Abstract
The respective dissertation is focussed on determining the importance of international
vocabulary in modern English for improvement of communication ability in the United
Kingdom. The main objectives of the study are to understand the concept of international
vocabulary in modern English. It also aims to examine the importance of international
vocabulary in improving the communication ability. Also, the researcher has tried to identify the
ways through which international vocabulary can be improved. Last objective of the research is
to determine the issues faced by an individual life due to inappropriate assessment of
international vocabulary. The respective research is a quantitative research and the data for this
research was gathered through questionnaire as well as interview method. Appropriate computer
programs were used to analyse the data that were collected for the same. There were some
limitations that the researcher encountered while undertaking the research, like time as well as
budget constraints. The major findings of the research are that in order to speak fluent English,
individuals should have strong international vocabulary. Also, due to use of inappropriate
international vocabulary, an individual can face various issues. Therefore, it is recommended that
people should read more books in order to improve their overall vocabulary. This way, they will
be able to perform, in an effective manner. Not only this, there will be an improvement in the
way they communicate.

INTRODUCTION
Modern English can be describe as the form of English language that is spoken since the Great
Vowel Shift in England that is began in the late 14th century. This is consider as the opposed to
Middle English and Old English. Vocabulary plat crucial role in English language and it includes
various words that assist in describing the meaning. It is important that individual have effective
vocabulary as though this they will be able to convey message and ideas in correct or accurate
manner. International vocabulary in Modern English will have significant influence over
capability of a person to convey messages and ideas in significant manner. Through this person
is able to transfer idea and message through correct international vocabulary in such as manner
that other is able to gain correct information about the topic. This research report includes
different aspects related to importance of international vocabulary in English with the motive of
improving communication capability. In this report data for different sources have been collected
in order to find correct information about the topic. Research methodology have been included in

Significance
Communication is one of the essential skills or ability of a person which assist in correctly
conveying message to others. Through effective and strong communication skills individual is
able to transfer idea in such a manner that resiver is able to get accurate meaning of the message.
It has been analysed that it is very important for investigator to find correct and accurate
information about the topic so that required outcomes can be determined. This is significant
research in order to identify various benefits or importance of international vocabulary in the
modern English with the motive of enhance communication capabilities of a person. Through
this research, investigator is able to identify and determine the concept of international
vocabulary in modern English as well as different elements which lead to have impact over
communication capability of a person. Through this various approaches and techniques to
enhance international vocabulary have been identified.

International vocabulary comprises of specialized as well as scientific words whose
language of origin may or may not be necessarily certain. But all the words are in current use in
various modern languages. Many international words are similar in western languages or in the
international standards. If the person is able to speak European language, it is assumed that these
words need no explanation and/or taught specially. Vocabulary is a very important part of the
English language and includes simple words (Bozeman, 2017). It can be said that vocabulary
acts as brick for the language. An efficient vocabulary improves all the different areas of
communication for an individual. This can include speaking, listening, reading as well as writing
and as a result, the learners are able to express themselves in an efficient manner. Apart from
this, if the learners have knowledge about more words, their choice of words is more precise.
This results into becoming more fluent and accurate with the language while communicating
with other people. People who are fluent in international vocabulary, are able to perform more
effectively in their academic. The more they read, the more they become skilled at reading and
using different words in their day-to-day language. This is because they learn new words and
