INTRODUCTION Internet marketing, or online marketing, refers to advertising and marketing efforts thatuse the Web and email to drive direct sales via electronic commerce, in addition to sales leadsfrom Web sites or emails. Internet marketing and online advertising efforts are typically used inconjunction with traditional types of advertising such as radio, television, newspapers andmagazines. I am going to prepare a report for the attention of the management team for twocontrasting organisations Aldi and Easyjet. In this report I will be introducing the unit of internetmarketing, define what internet marketing is about and the role of internet marketing. Also I willprovide a section on which ways internet marketing is used (Benson, M. and Barclay, I., 2006).This report will also include information on how customers can benefit from the online servicesand the online business itself.
