Introduction
Asset tracking system allows an individual for real-time positioning and visibility
through single point contact (Koo, Piratla & Matthews, 2015). It is mainly required for
monitoring, optimization, and prevention of any kind of damage to asset. It mainly allows an
individual to collect data and send it to server.
In the coming pages, an idea has been provided with respect to different aspects or
parameter of smart asset tracking system.
Discussion
“Thing” that is connected to Internet that allows smart tracking system to
operate
“Thing” on Internet of thing is nothing but an embedded technology that allows them to
sense pressure, humidity, and temperature and lastly pressure. Technology allows the devices to
connect to another thing in the cloud so that they can send information (Zhang et al., 2016).
There are large number of things are connected to internet which allows smart tracking system to
operate like
AIRcable Gateway: It combines with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and is a very small mesh and
beacon which there in cloud (Dave et al., 2016). AIRcable gateway comes up with long range
and scans for iBeacon, Mesh asset beacons for sending location information to the server.

GPS Asset tracking devices: Microchip aims to create 8-bit and 32-bit analog and flash
based solution (Koo, Piratla & Matthews, 2015). Atmel can provide software and hardware
devices which is based on low powered microcontroller.
Mobile Technology SW and Apps connected to the scenario
By the help of SAM 2.0, user can easily establish connection which is based on SAP UI5
that can be deployed on middleware. It can be easily downloaded on Apache Cordova that
contains initial synchronization. SAM application has been designed in such a way so that user
can focus more on work much less on mobile device. They need to spend much less time on
SAM to get better (Lee & Lee, 2015). SAM has been built to complement the portfolio in wide
ranges of smart assets management. SAM software makes internet of technology for compiling
real-time data across various building equipment’s. The platform has been used for tracking,
analyzing and prediction of various key building metrics like water, gas and lastly quality of air.
The managers focus on large number of this cutting the overall operation cost, improving overall
efficiency and lastly improving overall value of the asset.
Wi-Fi network and cloud will be basics for Network Technology
Among all the devices, IoT is considered to be most successful one. It is the best standard
of connectivity which is being used in various domains like enterprise, schools, hospital and
many other places (Zhang et al., 2016). A large number of devices are connected to Wi-Fi access
point and many of them to operate at 1-GHz. RFID allows a large number of devices to be
connected at large ranges. Two aspects that is standardization and implied Interoperability is
considered to be main reason behind the popularity of Wi-Fi for IoT based devices.

IT engineers integrate and test for IoT devices and technology
IT engineers can easily go for five kinds of testing that are usability, reliability, data
integrity, security, and performance
Usability Testing: Understanding the usability of the system is considered to be an
important factor in IoT (Dave et al., 2016). It is considered because of following factors like
various shapes and form that are used by users.
Compatibility Testing: There is large number of devices which are connected in IoT
system (Lee & Lee, 2015). The connected devices vary in both software and hardware
configuration.
Reliability Testing: Reliability is considered to be an important part of building IoT
devices. It is all about simulation of given sensors by using proper tools.
Security Testing: In IoT, there is large number of devices that make use of huge amount
of data (Koo, Piratla & Matthews, 2015).
Performance testing: It is an important step for development and implementation of IoT
testing plan.
Conclusion
From the above pages, the fact can be considered that this report is all about IoT smart
tracking system. A list of mobile application has been discussed which will help in management
of asset. A range of discussion has been provided with respect to Wi-Fi and cloud which is basic
of network technology.
