Week 1
Internet of Things have been one of the ever-evolving technology. Acceptance of this
technology has been very high. With the acceptance of the technology of IOT, the technology
is being used in regular purpose of an individual. Health care has been highly benefitted. This
ensures the fact that IOT is used in a huge manner. With the benefit of using IOT in the field
of Health Care the basic issue that are present will get mitigated. Deployment of IOT helps in
better communication process. This includes the fact that the management of the project will
get maintained as per the completion of the treatment of the patients.
Week 2
The benefits that are sent as per the usage of the IOT in the sector of health care are as
follows: -
1. Remote Patient monitoring: remote patient monitoring has been affecting the treatment of
the patients in a positive manner. Remote patient monitoring is also called Telemedicine.
2. Electronic Health Records: Electronic Health Records are the main advantage that are
gained from the application of IOT in Health care.
Week 3
Issues present in the enactment of IOT in health care are: -
1. Data Security and Privacy issues: Data security and privacy issue is considered as one of
the major aspects that affects the functioning of the project.
2. Integration of the appliances: Integration of appliances that are used in a collaborative
manner for completion of the project.

3. Data overloading: Data Overloading is one of the major issues that is present in the
functioning of the data overloading process.
Week 4
Application of IOT in the field of health care are as follows: -
1. Reducing of emergency room wait: with the implementation of the IOT health care system
direct meeting of the doctors’ need has been decreasing.
2. Tracking patients: Tracking of patients are also one of the major applications of the
implemented Internet of Things in health care section. . In case of emergency this process
helps in better commencing of the project.
3. Enhancing drug management: Tracking of the availability of the drugs are also considered
as the main aspect that affects the treatment of the patients.

Errors in treatment of patients has been one of the major concerns in today’s treatment
process. Due to inefficiency in the treatment process patients have been incorrectly diagnosed
by doctors. The main reason of this inefficient treatment is because there is a communication
gap in between the doctors and the patients. Increases cost of treatment has also been
affecting the common people. Due to this increase in cost the main issue that is present is that
most of the patients cannot afford the regular basis treatments (Catarinucci et al 2015).
