PART 1INTRODUCTIONIn present time internet has transformed the modern world. Internet is been used by businessas well as individual to a great extent. It allows individual to communicate with one another withsome set standards (Salman and Jain, 2015). These standards are known as internet protocols.So, in order to use internet properly there are several rules and regulations set by government.These rules have to be followed by companies. However, with advancement in technology theprotocols are changing. IP sets a framework through which data packets are transferred from onecomputer to another. This report will describe about IPv6 and different types of addressingavailable in it. MAIN BODY In era of internet it is important to follow certain rules and regulations. Internet refers totransferring data from one computer to another. It is done through establishing network. The datais transferred via data packets and protocols. The IP are principles communication protocol setacross network boundaries and deliver data packets. It provides framework on basis of whichnetwork is designed and IP address is allocated. Along with IP, TCP is a standard that defineshow a network should be maintained and data is exchanged. TCP works with IP which set basicrules. Moreover, TCP are defined by IETF in request for comment RFC standards. Networkaddressing refers to designing a network and allocating address to it (Murray, 2015). There arevarious types of network addressing which is followed as per requirement. In each one bit aredifferent and its range varies. It is necessary to follow rules so that information is sent to insystematic way. The protocols are same for network. If protocols are not followed then datapackets may be sent and delivered in inappropriate way. Alongside it, in designing a networkspecific steps are taken into consideration. This includes IPv6, forming groups of bits, etc. Apartfrom it, many things are analyzed before subsnetting such as computers, current network,routers, etc. it makes it easy in completion. When network is established properly the data andinformation is transferred quickly. A user can easily have access over internet. Each computer isassigned proper IP address through which it can be traced. Then, further they are connected toother computer in a network. The first version of IP is IPv4 which was developed in 1983 by ARPANET. IPv4 provideframework of core protocols that is to be followed in packet switching (IP address. 2015). But1
