Options/Methods can be used for Network Design:
As per the requirement of the assessment 4 a network need to be established which will
be consisting router, PC, servers and switch so that a proper network can be created and this
established network need to be configured by a dynamic type of routing protocol. Also, the
clients and the servers connected to different type of network. In this aspect for designing the
network following these requirements three types of methodology can be followed. The first one
is the intelligent information network, second one is the service oriented network architecture
(SONA) and the last one is prepare, plan, design, implement, operate, and optimize or the
PPDIOO methodology.
The intelligent information network or the IIN method of network designing is quite
useful for fulfilling the business related processes. In this type of network design methodology
the designed network is able to ensure that when the business processes will be requiring any
type of important information this network will be able to deliver that information with having
no delay (Cisco Networking: Intelligent Information Network (IIN) Design Methodology –
dummies, 2019). This type of network design is having some pros and cons also. In this aspect
the main pros of this system is that it can provide proper intelligence to the system and this
intelligence will be linked with other IT infrastructures. The main con of this methodology is that
it is very much critical to implement as various of complex task is associated with it.
The next methodology for the network design is the service oriented network architecture
or SONA. The service oriented network architecture methodology is used for redesigning an
existing network system. By using the service oriented network architecture methodology a
traditional type of network can be evolved in an intelligent information network (Cisco
