Short-term career goals
After the completion of my graduation, my short-term goal will be to seek an
internship in a company that can help me to enhance my knowledge in finance. The
internship course needs to start within one year after the completion of my graduation. My
goal is to complete the internship training within one year in order to attain my goals.
Ways to achieve
I can achieve this goal by identifying some of the organisations that provide
internship to graduates. This will be the most difficult part as reputed organisations do not
provide internship to graduates. However, the opportunity that I get in any organisation can
help me to enhance my career growth in finance. The manner in which I can attain this goal is
by accepting any internship offer that I receive. Being biased cannot help my cause to fulfil
my short-term career goal.

Based on this, an action plan can be developed that can help me to remain clear about

Long-term career goals
After the completion of my graduation and short-term goal, I intend to become a
finance assistant manager of a company within 5 years. This can be achieved by gaining
practical knowledge and making more contacts with people holding expert positions in
organisations.
Ways to achieve
The ways by which I can achieve this goal is by ensuring that I work hard during my
internship and the years thereafter. I need to try to remain in the organisation that helps me to
gain my internship experience. Even after changing company I need to keep in touch with the
people that hold prestigious positions in the companies. I also need to enhance my skills in
bookkeeping and maintaining the finances of a company in order to achieve the position that
I aim.
