IntroductionNetworking in IT infrastructure that act of connecting the devices with a purpose to enableresource sharing this may include the data, printers and other many more [ CITATION Bra171 \l1033 ]. Many network in computers may be with designs and this always depend on the size ofthe organization and what need to be implemented [ CITATION Jos15 \l 1033 ]. This proposal is forprovision of network design that should be adapted by the given company where we have toapply both the cloud-based and dedicated server techniques.ObjectivesThe main aim is to achieve the various objectives that will the help an organization in conductingits service a more effective and much more efficiently [ CITATION Col12 \l 1033 ]. The idea herewill help in achieving both the operational and business objectives. The following objectivesshall need to be followed and they are vital in the network to be laid.Scalability- This is the idea where the network design to be set up to have the capabilitiesof accommodating more devices when need arise in future. The design should allowexpansion or extensibility in future without necessary having to draw another design fromscratch. Secured Organization Services- This network should enhance a more secure environmentfor its operations.Info processing being effective- The aim of network design is to ensure that all users areable to retrieve. Processing and storing of info related to the organization operationalservices in a more effective and very transparent manner.Components of Information Technology InfrastructureThere are many components that makes the IT infrastructure and helping in facilitating indesigning a good network design that is needed by different firms. In the case here some of thecomponents are discussed here below.1.SwitchThis is a hardware device used for connecting the devices over the network within asingle LAN [ CITATION Bra171 \l 1033 ]. They may come with various versions depending

on the size of the network and how scalable the network is. The figure below shows someof the versions of switches.Figure 1 Switches2.RoutersThis are devices that are used for connecting the network to the internet. They offer theprovision of all the devices that are embedded on the accelerating encryptions, expansionslots for DSP, firewall, intrusion preventions, processing calls, services applications andvoice calls.3.Wireless Access Point (WAP)This a device in networking used for creating the wireless LAN which is WLAN. Thedevice is known for using transceiver that broadcasts Wi-Fi signals within theorganization and hence allowing more users to connect to the LAN.4.Fiber Cable5.This type of component serves as a transmission media that connects the devices to thenetwork,6.Server and the storage componentsComponents used for managing the access to all resources shared and services in a givennetwork. This servers may include the DNS server, Web Server, File-Server and thedatabase server.7.Workstation devicesThis includes devices like computers, Iphones etc. that are connected to the network.8.Cat 6 Ethernet cable. This are the cables used for providing the connection of the access layer devices to thenetwork organization.

9.Operating system components. This includes the Operating system of the work stations and the servers and not forgettingthe Network operating System (NOS). All of the above discussed IT infrastructure components are very essential to enhance anetwork design that is of good quality for any organization, and in order for us to achievethe stated objectives the following components will have to be used. The network designshaving to rely with the discussed above components will make it to be successful[ CITATION Mba12 \l 1033 ].3-Layered Hierarchical ModelThis hierarchical networking design is specifically the situation where the flat switchednetwork is broken in to three layers where each layer in the model performs specificfunctions leading to simplification of the network thus making it easy to scaling andmanaging the network [ CITATION CIS14 \l 1033 ]. The 3 layers of this design are explainedhere below.Figure 2 three-layered architectureAccess layer- the layer offers provision directing the end-user who connect to the LAN

Distribution Layer- this layers used for connecting the components of access layer and alsoenabling the access layers connectivity to services [ CITATION Tec15 \l 1033 ].Core Layer – helps in connecting DL to large LAN organizations.Current IT infrastructure Analysis in The organizationThe situation of the current network in the organization is that it poorly designed. The use of theFlat switched network design in the organization has made it hard in managing the design as wellas conducting the operations in an effective manner when we consider the size of theorganization. The other idea is that the network in place is not scalable[ CITATION Cis09 \l 1033 ].This means incase the network needs to be expanded we will have to draw another design fromscratch. There will be a lot of problems which are complex when troubleshooting. Anotherproblem is the network being insecure hence in case it affects the company everything isparalyzed.Future IT Infrastructure Analysis in the OrganizationThe proposed future network design of the organization is based on a three-layered hierarchicaldesign. The design is highlighting each and every component in each layer in the design[ CITATION Leo15 \l 1033 ]. The three layer is used for simplifying the whole company networkdesign by making it flexible, scalable and much more easy to managing and troubleshootinghence improving the processing speed [ CITATION Cis13 \l 1033 ]. The diagram below illustrates theabove
